A top place to have a carvery. Never had a bad meal there. Always plenty of choice and the staff are only to happy to help with anything. Superb all round

A great meal again! Really good value for money and a pleasant service. Quite quiet at 3pm which was refreshing and made the experience even better.

I have always enjoyed the food at the Wellington, however a visit on Father's Day was disappointing. Recently they have started offering Just Eat and Take Away service. On this very busy occasion the queue for food was very long as a result of the Take Away's being served first and diners who had booked and actually visited the restaurant waiting to be served last - as a result my family, a group of 5 didn't eat a meal together, in fact 2 of the party had finished before I sat down to eat. Perhaps the Take Away service should have been suspended on such a very busy day. And to finally end what was a disappointing visit we were asked to vacate our table after only 1hr 45 mins.

Food arrived within a good time but was just dumped in front of us and the waitress whizzed away, leaving us to go off in search of condiments such as mustard and vinegar. It was a busy Monday night but it takes less than a minute to ask diners if they need anything else to go with their meal. After our main meal, my partner went to the bar to Oder dessert and was gone ages. I popped to the loo, so took my phone and purse, leaving my bag on the chair to indicate I hadn’t left. When I came back, my half full drink and the meat I had wrapped up to take home for the dog had been cleared away. My partner came back and explained he had been ignored at the bar whilst several people came up apparently just to chat to the bar staff. When he pointed out he had been waiting, one staff was very rude to him. On the plus side, the food was excellent. My steak was more rare than the medium rare I had asked for, but was delicious all the same. Fantastic value for money too!

Was to busy had to que up for 30 mins food was cold tables are very small and crammed together had to order vegetarian gravy separate which again had to wait for.

We had a carvery , with four choices of meat and plenty of variety of veg, so many to choose from than other places we have visited, would definitely go again.

Another fantastic carvery. Loads to choose from and very tasty. You have to book the day before at the latest to guarantee a table for Sunday lunch. We go early ie as it opens and it gets full quickly

Food was lovely, staff work so hard and a still pleasant even when it’s really busy. The only problem was the huge queue, but that’s only because of how good and popular this place is really so can’t complain :)

Resevered the table at 6.50 was there at 7.05 and was having a meal at 7.20 superb little app this is. The food was excellent with the steak cooked to perfection. Recommended.
