Wonderful large cup of coffee and good selection of food items.

Very disappointed. Chips was cold. Steak was tuff. Birthday and wedding anniversary. Was recommended but sadly not good .

Great carvery as usual but the only thing that was a bit annoying is the speed at which the staff wanted to clear our table.We all finished our lunch at different times but the staff came to our table 3 separate times to clear the plates making us feel a bit rushed. This has happened on two different occasions now.Will be having a word with staff/management if it happens again

Excellent value and very good quality carvery. Very busy with lots of people having takeaway meals but speed of service was acceptable.

Slightly cramped and awkward seating. Waitress asked if plates could be cleared even though someone was still eating!

Food is always hot and there is plenty of it. Staff are pleasant and drink reasonably priced! This was the first time we made our own booking online which was very easy, but we have been several times before and will continue to do so!

As always the carvery was excellent. We will definitely be using them again

The food was delicious but the staff preparing the takeaway meals let the place down. They pushed in front of us and were quite abrupt. We were also asked to move from our original table to accommodate other diners and were then placed right next to the queue for the food so we ate our meal surrounded by people standing around all three sides of our table and the other side was pushed up against a wall. We even had someone leaning on the back of one or our chairs at one point whilst they were waiting in the line.

Service was poor, staff were more bothered about the takeaways then the actual customers in the pub, food average at best, had to wait an age to get food and then was told we needed to vacate our table because they needed it for the next lot of customer, didn’t even get our dessert!

Sorry to say but a bit disappointed with our visit here. The queue for the Carvery was right up to the bar and nearly by the front door. The reason was that we saw when we got to the front the cook was carving the meat and filling up takeaway cartons whilst the queue had to wait and they had a lot of takeaways going on. The ‘in house ‘ customers didn’t take priority I’m afraid. Just beware not to go at busy times as they can’t do both. Don’t remember seeing this before but I noticed they now do Uber Eats

Very Busy and we expected a wait for food as we arrived just after a party of about 12, food arrived very quickly and was superb excellent value for mone, definitely going back.

Lukewarm food and floor spillages not cleaned. Was seated next to open door where smokers outside. Not pleasant. Staff friendly but chaotic. Would not recommend.

Made to feel welcome, decent wine which you don't usually get, cold lager, we had a Carvery, meat was falling apart beautifully, good choice of veg & different potato choices (sorry but sprouts were well over cooked, soggy), music played outside & a bouncy castle if you have little one's, we'll be back

Family Sunday carvery. Enjoyed the huge range of vegetables. Puddings were great too especially the lemon blossom.

Fabulous food, a bit confused when we arrived as it wasn’t clear you needed to pay at the bar for food, so we bought drinks but no one asked about ordering food even though we had booked a table for the carvery. It wasn’t until we noticed people had “tickets” in the queue that we realised we needed to get them at the bar.

Good food, very unclean restaurant, very slow to clean floor

The carvery was cold and dried up. Not very good service not much meat.

My wife and myself both had the carvery and were not dissapointed. Great value, food very good with plenty to choose from, would def recommend.

Been many times for a carvery but the first time for breakfast. Lots of choice, lovely and hot and will definitely be going back again. Fantastic value for money.

Been meaning to visit here after all the recommendations I'd seen. Went with 2 friends for a lunch time carvery. It was excellent, so much choice, piping hot. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Will definitely go again.

Very busy. Didn't really enjoy the meal as although there was a good choice of vegetables non of them were really hot and I think majority were frozen. Not a lot of taste. Far too much meat out on hotplates to keep warm.
