Service was absolutely first rate, both members of waiting staff could not do enough for us and were really friendly and polite. The food was obviously the main highlight ! Can't wait to go again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nachos as a starter where great! Very tasty! Main course was all right. Had a nice evening with friendly staff serving our food. Definitely return!

Very good quality of food comparing to price. Some nice dinner deals when you come early, but also not pricy to eat after 6.30. Friendly service!

Brilliant meal at the Mill last night. The menu has all a huge variety and everyone's meals were lovely. Portion sizes are great value for money too.

The Mill has a modern but cosy ambience which is very attractive. My mother took me there today to celebrate my birthday, which was on Monday. This is not the first time we have been and we were not disappointed today. I had a steak kebab with fries and side salad, which was delicious and cooked to perfection. My mother had cod and chunky fries which she really enjoyed. Afterwards I had Vanilla Creme Brûlée with 2 shortbread, garnished with strawberries, cream and lemon curd; that was even more delicious than it sounds! The only reason I haven't given it a 6 is that, having given us the desert menu, the waiter forgot to come back for our order, which would have mattered had we been in a hurry.

Lunch with friends. We've met friends for lunch at The Mill on a few occasions. We booked again for Saturday lunch & as usual we weren't disappointed. I had a chicken pitta with salad & garlic sauce. Simple, but delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful & not intrusive. Another lovely lunch. Thank you.

Lovely modern styled pud/restaurant in Stoksley near great Ayton. We booked and arrived at 6.30 on a Saturday night although they were very busy the service was very good. The food was very good and well worth the price. Especially impressed with the children's meals good home cooked food.

Good food, specialty ordering before 6.30 is great! Had a perfect evening, friendly staff. The desserts are expensive though but lot's of choice. We'll go back again!

Food came in 5 mins, far too quick in my opinion Drinks expensive.. Staff very friendly so I don't knock them. Wouldn't go back in a hurry

Service between courses was very slow. We thought they'd forgotten us! Otherwise the food and drinks were very good. It is worth noting that they don't offer their full menu on a Sunday and I saw no mention of this on the website.

Excellent menu, loads of choice especially with the range of burgers. Service was great and generally a good atmosphere. Great choice for a spot of afternoon lunch.

Gorgeous steaks and Parmo's and desserts to die for. (Chocolate brownie was a big hit with the kids) Really pleasant and family friendly place. Will definitely be back.

we got to the mill for opening dead in 12 o' clock. as we walked in a young girl was coming out the kitchen on her mobile phone never greeted or welcomed us to the mill. i told her our reservation number. and she pointed us to some tables we asked her what table we were sitting at and she just said any. and then we asked again if we could sit. here and said risky said any of these two. we asked for two drinks one diet one normal she then plonked them on the table. we asked which one was diet then put her finger on the rim of the glass and said that one. we drank our drinks paid at bar and left very rude member of staff. didn't feel welcome. as driving out the car park the manager had waved us down and apologised for this. which we did appreciate. i am a regular to the mill and this is the second time i have been felt unwelcome

As usual the food was excellent. There seemed to be fewer staff than normal so the waitress serving us was very busy. She coped very well but the service was slower than normal. Just had to get another round of drinks so every cloud has a silver lining.

The second time we have been here in the past 5 weeks. It's a perfect meeting point for us & family. The food, service & atmosphere were as fabulous this time as the first time we visited. I booked for 4 of us, with no issues when I increased to 6. We ordered a variety of food - parmo, kebab, burger & Thai curry. All of us enjoyed it hugely. Desserts were equally as tasty & scoffed very quickly. The bill for 6 mains/3 desserts/3 coffees & drinks was a very reasonable £93. Thank you & we look forward to coming back.

Great food at reasonable prices the staff are friendly and very professional and the bar is well stocked with a great variety of spirits and draft beers all in all will definitely eat there again

Busy restaurant with excellent customer service. Portions are huge and are well cooked. I had cod and chips, the cod was succulent and very tasty. I will definitely visit here again. Make sure you book it was very busy.

Staff wonderful , food very good too. Disappointed with brûlée, less than half in ramekin and a drizzle of sauce, yet last time ramekin was full and sauce was in little jug. Expected the same as last time but it wasn't so not worth £5.95.
