Another lovely meal at the Mill, the burgers were delicious and the curry is absolutely awesome. We felt safe, well spaced out from other diners, though the staff didn’t have masks on?

I love this place, the food standards never slip and you can always count on it for a good meal. The halloumi fries are the best ive ever had and the steaks are beautiful!! Will always be my favourite restaurant

Service was good but the pub smelled unpleasant - like a foisty cloth! Food was very poor, out of the six meals we ordered, four were not good. Batter on the fish and chips was thick and rubbery, pie seemed as though it had been reheated several times and the pulled pork was dry as though it had been cooked on a previous day. We have been to the Mill numerous times but the quality has definitely slipped. Very disappointing.

My husband and I had different cuts of steak for our meal and they were both lovely and tender. It was served with mushroom and tomato plus a choice of two sides. Delicious chips, coleslaw. My husband chose onion rings, he said they were the best he's ever tasted, the batter was so light. The staff were polite and friendly.

We got seated next to the only other people in the restaurant and they were very noisy and screaming, it would’ve been nice to be sat further away from them to enjoy a peaceful meal but other than that everything else was excellent and I couldn’t fault them!

Staff were friendly, service was great and they went the extra mile. Unfortunately the food was substandard at best. Chicken pitta seemed... unfinished. It seemed like they've put it on the menu without thinking about the presentation or the eating experience for the customer. Chicken was dry and accompanied by a small, unopened, dry pitta (initially with no salad or anything but the lovely waiter did bring us salad, plus more chicken) which was great of him. Chicken parmo was exactly like a Jeff the Chef one from the supermarket, I would almost go as far as to say that's exactly what it was. Such a shame as its a really nice pub and FOH staff couldn't do enough.

Well we arrived at 7.15 table book at 7.30 there told us table was not ready as the guest had a bottle off wine to finish. We were given a high table so we could have a drink until the table was ready no one came back so we ordered food on high table which was not happy with table as we were celebrating our anniversary. After ordering the waitress brought our cutely which was all ok until she then went to a table where customers had just left and gave us there salt and pepper pots. She didn’t clean or sanitise them, we had to remind her that she can not do that and they needed to be changed or cleaned. We no it hard time for everyone .

Been waiting so long to get back to the Mill for a lovely meal since the start of lockdown and yet again it didn’t disappoint! All staff were really friendly and the health and safety precautions since the lockdown has been lifted are very good, highly recommend the Katsu Curry also; delicious !

We were expecting to have to wait for everything seeing as this was 1st day open after Lockdown but in fact we didn’t wait at all!! Amazing service. A lot of time and effort must have gone into plans for re- opening. Well done Team Mill! Will definitely be back soon!!
