Love love this place. Food great service great always helpful

Food was great. But the only thing preventing me from giving full stars was that when we asked for sauces they spent so long getting them that when we did get them we were nearly finished our meals and meant they were a bit of a waste.

Great Food and worth the price. Very accommodating with allergens as I have a gluten intolerance. Definitely be back again soon.

First visit staff knocked a drink all over me never offered much of an apology nothing knocked off bill wasn’t very impressed with food

Been before for lunch mid week and it was lovely. Today for Sunday lunch, although I admit wasn’t staff’s fault but wanted to spend some time with my son who travelled from London and our lunch was totally ruined by two very noisy families, we couldn’t hear what we were saying it was so rowdy, then their children were running in and out from the garden and we were sat next to exit door and there was a freezing wind blowing they didn’t shut the door after them. I reserved the table over a week ago and I felt we were just pushed in the corner out of the way. Don’t think I’ll be returning on a Sunday again.😢😢😢

The best pub in town, never fails to deliver, highly recommended

Half Parmo was delicious, swapped to chunky chips as not a fries lover which were gorgeous. My friend had the Main Meal version of the fish cakes with a Marsala sauce which she loved but I thought were a bit expensive but all the food was served piping hot which means a lot to me. It's not the cheapest but the food is excellent.

As always another fantastic visit to the mill!! Honestly cant fault anything!! The staff are second to none so so helpful, polite and accommodating!!! The food is just amazing too!! I have visited the mill a few times and their food and service never fails to impress me! Thank you again for another amazing evening!! We WILL be back!!

My wife had pork loin for her Sunday roast which was a bit fatty and the gravy was on the plate already and there was a bit too much, it would be better if it was in small jug or gravy boat

Food was good but customer service was not great. Ignored at bar when first arrived, then people who arrived after us were served before us. No waitress came to table to take food order so we had to go to the bar. Once finished plates not cleared so rather than order a dessert we paid and left. Wouldn’t return. Would give a rating of 1 but feel the food needs more than that

Excellent atmosphere that you normally don’t get from a gastropub. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent with generous portions. Would definitely recommend.

Met up with 2 friends for early tea. Excellent value with the early evening menu.. I had the 6 oz rump steak with proper chips. Really good

Nice friendly greeting on arrival. Starters were nice. Main courses were very average. Not asked during meal if we’d like more drinks when glasses were empty. Had to ask on 2 occasions for the bill as the first waitress forgot, then waited a further 10-15 minutes for someone to bring the card machine so we could pay the bill. I also felt it was very expensive for the standard of food/service. No thank you or goodbye from staff as we left. Sadly I would not recommend or return here.

Service poor this time ordered drinks then coffee but they forgot allso food was not very hot are we traveled for an hour to get there we were a little disappointed

Really nice food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Was very busy when we arrived, with no spaces in the car park, but there was plenty of parking close by and on the roadside, as well.

Fab food at fab prices with great vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and attentive and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We will be back!

Nice meal, good price, good service. We had steak kebabs, chicken curry and burger. All nice and well presented. Booking easy using quandoo. Booked hour before.

Really impressive customer service especially one gentleman who was very attentive. The menu had a wide range of options , Meal was well presented, good size portion and delicious.

had an absolutely amazing experience at the mill in stokesley! the staff were so polite and helpful nothing seemed like a bother to them. the food... oh my word the food what can I say other than wow!! we each had 3 courses and there was no complaints from any of our party of 7! they brought all food together so no one was left waiting. the food tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection I honestly have nothing bad to say at all! we will definitely be back in the near future!! Thank you for a fantastic experience your hard work certainly pays off!!

Excellent food and great atmosphere again. New Years Eve didn’t detract the service and attention to go along with the food. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly revommended.

Greedy, greedy owners! i regularly have Sunday lunch here and a main costs just under £10. Today however it is £12.75. Almost £3 more per main course, and why is this? Because it's Christmas! But it's not Christmas for another two days. The staff aren't getting paid anymore money and it's not even the holidays yet, so why are you milking your customers in this way? I could understand if this was over the holidays but it's not. It's just pure GREED and ripping off loyal regular customers. The only difference to my main from the norm was that it was served with brussel sprouts and rock hard ones at that. No wonder the table for six next to mine was empty. Well I hope you make the most of the extra ten or twelve quid you made from my family because we won't be coming back. Greedy, greedy, greedy!
