Fabulous food and staff very attentive. Can’t fault the place, will be returning. Thanks to the lovely waitress that kept our food warm whilst we dealt with a mini emergency! :)

A lovely place. It was very busy and extremely noisy but the food is good, except for the side salad which looked past its best. Overall we had a nice evening. The serving staff were very attentive and looked happy in their work.

We have been to the Mill on previous occasions and found this visit up to previous standards. Our food was served pleasantly, it was hot and tasty and the waiting time was quite acceptable.

First visit. Place was packed and very noisy. Not a lot you can do about that I guess with an establishment this busy. However that said by the end of our visit the “rush” had subsided and can not fault the food and the service. Well done. A smile from the guy showing us to the table would have been good.

My food could have could have been a bit warmer, but apart from that everyone enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests

Excellent visit. Nothing was a trouble. Food was beautifully cooked and served by a very pleasant young waitress. I will certainly be going back and i will recommend without hesitation.

The service was very efficient, perhaps a bit too quick between courses but my starter was excellent, the main course of Lasagne was large, the cheesy topping was a bit too thick and stodgy but very tasty.Wine prices were about right. Excellent coffee. Overall a pleasant visit, and we will return.

Another lovely meal at the Mill. One of our party was delayed and the staff were absolutely lovely about it. I’d definitely recommend the Thai curry and burgers. If I had to say anything at all negative, the crackling on top of the pig and peas dish was soft, not crackling as hubby expected but the meal was gorgeous so he really was still happy with the dish and said he’d happily order it again!

Went for Sunday lunch. Service excellent. Food very good and very large portions. The only thing was that I am allergic to red wine (but not white thankfully) and the meal that I wanted had red wine in it. All the gravy for the other dishes had red wine but the chef offered to make some gravy that didn't. Excellent!

Food itself was excellent, pub was not very busy with only a few tables occupied at the time (6.30pm on Thur). Once sat down with a menu waitress never returned so we gave up waiting and after 15- 20 minutes went to bar to place order. Food arrived ok, staff enquired after a while if all ok which it was. Waitress then cleared adjacent table only 2 feet away and sprayed cleaning fluid over it in our direction. Main course finished we waited for waitress to take our desert order and clear our own finished plates away but again after 15 minutes wait we gave up and left the pub. No desert order was offered so we went home and had the 2nd course there. Staff observed standing around the till area chatting away when they could have been more attentive. Our worst experience at the Mill to date.

We have been 3 times within the last few weeks and this visit was disappointing compared to the others. There was an issue with the computer which meant delays with the drinks, the staff did apologise and they did deduct the cos of one round of drinks from the bill. However the food and service was not as good as on previous occasions which was a shame as we had taken another couple with us
