Excellent meal. Had a real great night with my girlfriend, excellent place to go for a good quality feed. Not sure about buying a round of drinks for the staff for £20 though...

Starters were ok, steaks were cooked as requested and nice and tender Crem brûlée pre prepared and the cinnamon apple crumble had a little to much cinnamon Meals Coke out quickly and the service is good, almost rushed

Fabulous lunch today at The Mill In Stokesley. We had Sunday Lunch & Fish and chips. Both meals were fabulous. And all the staff were helpful and very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Always a very friendly welcome at the Mill in Stokesley, and you know you are going to get good quality food with great value Specials. As it was Thursday we had the 2 for 1 chicken fajitas. Great tasting dish washed down with a good draft ale.

The greeting as we arrived at the bar was good, we were served drinks and shown to our table. We were served promptly with our main course which was excellent. We asked to see the dessert menu which didn't materialise. We requested the dessert menu again and the lady serving apologised and brought the menu after a long delay. We then waited approximately 30 minutes and tried to attract her attention without success. We decided to ask for the bill and leave rather disappointed.

Although the Mill was very busy as you would expect in December the service was great and the food was brilliant. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.

Service was good and the food and drinks we ordered came very fast. The chicken parmo I got was average and so we're the chips which is respective of the cheap price.

A very enjoyable lunch. My father had the fish and chips and I had the scampi and chips followed by the white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

On the whole very good. The ban of all pudding was not good but was changed for another different pudding with no problem. Bit of a failure with booking over the website as only goes upto 6 and I wanted to book 8. Although I rang The Mill direct the number hadn't been changed. However it all worked out in the end.

Food very good. The moules marinier was amazing the best I have had in a long time. The toffee apple cheesecake and the chocolate fudge cake were delicious. The main course we had had the carvery.

A bit disappointing that there was no table set up for 5. When we have been before the staff have put a couple of tables together so that there is plenty of room. A chair stuck on a table for 4 wasn't so grand! However, service was OK and the food was good. Three of us had the Thai green curry, one a grilled chicken and a vegetarian risotto, all was enjoyable.

My food was served on a dirty plate, the waiter was defensive when I pointed this out. I have not eaten there previously and will not try it again.

Booked on line table for 6 very simple Table all ready when we arrived Was not rushed to place food order Had two plank starters waiter asked if we wanted extra bread Mains all served on time very well presented One comment steak and Stilton pie is not a pie it's not served in a dish it's aster served on a plate with a pastry case on top Although very tasty presentation could be better Overall a very well run gastro pub with an excellant menu plus Timothy Taylor's on draft and a selection of gins

Service and food were lovely. Only disappointment for me as a diary free person there was no soya milk for a coffee when asked and I was charged the full price for an Eton mess dessert that was only strawberries and jelly. However overall fab and would definitely go back

Large menu - probably a bit too large. Good surroundings though some tables a little cramped and too close together. Staff polite and very welcoming. Good choice of drinks.

Great food, friendly service and fantastic ales. The shredded duck plank starter for 2, incredibly tasty with chef's special sauce. Amazing Thai green curry too. Family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Great bantering with our servers.
