The food was good and the exotic burger was excellent. Kids meals were also nice and overall good value for money. However, the deserts didn't arrive after 25 minutes and had to leave. Not sure what the hold up was as it was only two kids ice creams and a creme brulee. The kids ice creams were also part of the kids meal, which were paid for.

Always a pleasure to dine here and tonight was no exception. Couple of items were wrong but quickly rectified and I think this was mainly due to the mask. One of the regular puddings had been given a make over which was one of our favourites and although we chose something else, when they told the chef he very kindly sent out the original dish for, really appreciated. A very enjoyable evening, everything cooked to perfection and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere.

We had the most perfect evening at mad hunters - the food was absolutely amazing and it was lovely to see something different on the menu. My partner is a veggie and myself pescatarian, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We liked the gap between courses too, in other restaurants you often feel rushed but here you were made to feel welcome. Good wine and a nice beer on tap too. We will definitely be returning.

Went here for the first time and the first time we hadn’t been out since having our first baby! So a big deal to just be out and staying awake to enjoy food again!! Brilliant choice, fab restaurant and amazing food and just the perfect amount of attention from staff- always there and helpful but not intrusive! Will deffo be back!!

Nice and friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Food was excellent. The only down fall I would say is that they don't serve cocktails or many spirits. A wine list was available and even thought the rose wine I had was delicious I would have fancied a cocktail or two. Apart from that was a great dinong experience.

3 hours in the restaurant from starter to desert, very slow service. Had to keep going to the bar for more drinks. Main was great chicken and prawn broth dish amazing however wife’s Hake and muscle both was of poor quality. Fish over cooked and muscle were of a very poor standard small and very gritty. Senior waitress very knowledgeable but over all was largely on her own. I will not return for what is an expensive experience lacking in quality or value for money.
