Huge choice of wines and friendly staff. It was quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime but of course none the worse for that. Great pimientos de padron.

Very nice and easy going wine bar with good food and beverage variety. Good quality price ratio and ideal location between Notting Hill and Kensington.

Very good tasting food and wine, nice staff and lovely atmosphere. Perfect location, a quick walk from home and if you live somewhere else just take the tube or bus, it's close to downtown.

Good atmosphere, peaceful and servers aren't always at your table hounding you. I've been a couple times on Sunday when it tends to not be busy so this is a little hidden gem that hasn't become one of the typical overcrowded and extremely noisy London bars.

Great food, expansive wine selection and attentive service. We particularly appreciated the waiter bringing both still and sparkling water to the table without being asked, and refilling during the course of the meal.

The bar/restaurant is in a nice location and has ample seating available in side. Wine was good and staff friendly and a bit of a rarity in London in that it was actually quiet so didn't have to shout to the person next to me. Huge positive! The only reason this isn't a 6 star rating is because the tables were quite cramped and the service was quite slow even though the bar/restaurant wasn't busy at all.

Great wine selection, 40+ wines by the glass. very nice service; Starters were just wonderful-carpiacho and for grass. Mains also nice. Overall great place to visit.

Absolutely loved The Kensington Wine Rooms. Perfect venue for a catch up with a friend over dinner, Excellent food/menu, I really liked the fact they can pick the wine to go with each of the dishes. Friendly atmosphere and nice staff. Would definitely recommend!

Reliable as ever with knowledgeable, friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. The selling point is of course the excellent array of wines by the glass which catered to all of our tastes around the table. Well done.

Really lovely atmosphere. Went for the wine pairing with each course and they were perfectly matched. Only minor complaint would be service was a hint slow, but really helpful when we got them

Atmosphere was great! Great place to meet for drinks and apps. Service was good. Wine list was decent, but nothing groundbreaking there. The red wine was served too warm and the rosé too cold. A wine bar should know.

Once again, a fabulous supper at KWR. It's so refreshing to have such interesting wines by the glass to be able to pair with the beautifully cooked food. All the stuff are friendly and very knowledgable about their wines. We'll be coming back! Again and again!

Delicious food, wine and very nice staff! We've been there a couple of times and it has become our favorite restaurant, so you will see us again very soon.

Adequate food. Ineffeficient sevice but nice room and perfectly ok if your in the area. Warning:the wines are heavily marked up so the overall value for money is questionable.

Gorgeous little place. Attentive service without being too intrusive. A few of us I the group did the wine tasting. We did not eat her but from what we saw come out of the kitchen looked and smelt delicious. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

The service was good and the place is pleasant, but we were not asked how we would like our meat and we found it overcooked.

This wine bar has a brilliant set up with ability to taste lots of different wines for as little as a £1 or so and great food too.

Lovely atmosphere and brilliant selection of wines. Just be careful with the top-up card, the more you drink, the more you'll spend! Perfect place before dinner to make sure you don't go OTT.

Excellent, cheerful service from a young energetic team. Fascinating wine list and very good value for central London. The food was interesting and the rack of lamb was beautifully cooked.

Nice chill atmosphere later in the evening when they turned down the lights. Quite good selection of wines. Big drawback for me, though, was the service was giving us annoyed looks when we decided not to order any food and only kept drinking wine - somewhat uncalled for if you market yourselves as wine bar...

The wines were mainly unheard of and so tasting was not really exposure to expensive classic wines that you could try. The lamb was fine but not pink so in my opinion over cooked. The spinach was not washed and that is not acceptable when you crunch dirt. I felt that it was over priced for the quality. Atmosphere was fine.

For a wine bar quite heavy beer and pub fumes :(:( Otherwise good place to try quite interesting wines - like Pinot from Wales? If you are into something like this...

Emphasis is on wine as much as the food, so a short menu with not overlarge portions but good quality food. Variety in having the wine pairing is a plus. Overall my first trip to one of the wine rooms and would go again.

Food decent. Wine choices ok. Not exactly what we expected in a 'wine room'. Not overly focused on wine selection, helping to explore wine. No flights offered. Really more of a pub with a decent selection of wine.

This is a great wine bar, the wines are fantastic, the advice and service are great, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is really nice. A great evening!

Third visit and it was a most enjoyable evening, the food was excellent, and of course the wine was exceptional. We ate early as were meeting with friends later and have to say we felt very pampered being one of just four tables eating.

Good service and good wine - I like the range of wines that I have never heard of and thus chance to experiment with something new is always there
