We have been visiting The Jolly regularly for the past 30 years and always enjoy the experience - especially the friendliness of staff and their 'banter'. However, on this latest occasion we felt that neither the food nor the service was up to the usual standard: the normal 'sparkle' was missing. This latest experience will not prevent us from going to The Jolly again in future, but has slightly tarnished our view of the restaurant. We would still recommend it to friends but perhaps no longer unreservedly.
Great welcome and very friendly staff. Table waiting for us when we arrived. Good value for money with good portion size but food not outstanding.
Service slow , wrong meal delivered, and late ,drinks order was forgotten, but apart from that not bad ,, still only 2 marks Dont think will go back
Enjoyed our visit to Holly's. We always visit Jolly's when we are in Edinburgh. We like the family atmosphere and food is good too. All staff are friendly and helpful.
Perfect meal - very tasty and decent portions - great service - make you very welcome - and pay attention - will definitely book again.
As usual the food was great as was the friendly service with Vito leading the way. Our whole family love this charming restaurant and we look forward to our next visit.
Excellent. Quality, quantity, friendly and affordable. Be recommended for couples, friends and families. The pizzas are huge and delicious. The only negative point is the music, maybe a little loud.

Don't seem to have kids menu. Had to order adult meal what a waste but food good. Would go again but will share with kids
The food and service was very good.The surroundings were pleasant.The owner gave us a lot of attention and made sure we enjoyed our meal and drinks.
excellent meal and service but very little space between tables. Felt £2.30 a bit expensive for soda water and lime when half carafe wine was £7.00.
