Very good restaurant, a bit pricey but also good quality, good to here when parents visit

Always worth visiting if you are in the area. Great food and atmosphere.

Really enjoyed this, as did my Muk for Mother’s Day.

Booked here for our Xmas meal , everything was perfect , no complaints from anyone

1 meal was lovely, the other 2 both lamb shanks was the worst I had ever had. The lambhad a lot of gristle and was very hard to get off the bone and what we did manage to get off the bone was very tough The staff handled our complaint very well. Normally the meals here are lovely and we have had the lamb shank here before and has always been very good so just a bad batch of shanks I think. the beef bourginon was lovely

The menu is very good there is something for everyone. They work with you if you need to adapt dished to make it something you will like. Cannot praise enough.

You just want to come back time and time again. The food and staff make the place 100% amazing.

Staff were a little over attentive as wasn’t busy and so kept asking us if we were ready to order abs did we need anything else. One coffee had gone cold by time milk arrived as it took three attempts for hot milk, once forgotten, 2nd time jug dirty and cracked,,3rd time lucky. Food was lovely and the distance of tables felt safe.

This pub/restaurant was recommended to us bit it wasn't as good as expected. Most disappointing was that to order drinks outside the only option was via the app, meaning without the technology you are excluded. Not everybody has that type of phone or wants to order via an app. The main reason seems to limit the number of staff working and make more money, with little thought for customer choice. The restaurant was fairly quiet and the food was tasty but a bit pricy and portions not that big.

I felt quite safe, everything was clean screens between tables etc. Our waiter was lovely, orders taken and food arrived promptly. I had the pork belly which was delicious, lovely crackling. Desserts were wonderful.

It was really noisy. The plastic barriers amplified the noise I think, it was awful. We had to shout to hear each other. Also we were sitting at a table that was extendable and it was difficult to get our legs under it! Service was slow and impossible to get the attention of the staff- I think mainly because of the noise. Food was good but very pricey for a pub.

Early evening visit so it was relatively quiet- staff welcoming and friendly which made it a very enjoyable visit. Probably due to a misunderstanding on my husband’s part, but he was confused after visiting the gents, to be directed out of the building to return to the table through a No Entry signed door? Maybe staff thought we were dining outside rather than inside? Overall though, just good to be out and about and visiting pubs again, helped by the friendly attitude and enthusiasm of the staff.

Steak what my wife had was superb. My meal , the steak pie wasn’t that great. Rather soggy pastry top, and tasteless gravy with bland beef. Drinks always good and service .

It’s a wonderful place. Great for couples and if you want somewhere a bit more private ask to do in special dining area

Amazing food, loved the pork belly. Service could be slightly more attentive, went a while waiting more drinks but couldn't find anyone to order. But appreciate they were busy and dealing with social distancing etc.

Been here several times as it’s really nice setting. Food is always good and reasonably priced but service can be slow usually due to not many staff being around. Recommend a visit tho.
