A day spent at The Heaton, Heaton Mersey is sure to be a delightful one. This cosy pub serves up traditional European and British dishes with a twist from its central location on Didsbury Road, not far from Stockport. This newly-refurbished building has more open fireplaces and cosy nooks and crannies than you can shake a stick at, and we are big fans of the friendly staff and comfy surrounds. The Heaton is favoured by many a Heaton Mersey local but you will also find folks from Stockport and further afield looking to tuck into incredible British and European grub.

But enough about that, what’s actually on the menu at The Heaton? Well, you can expect to find everything from sharing platters to burgers, and from salads to succulent steaks on offer. But let’s delve in a little deeper then, shall we? One of our absolute favourite dishes that The Heaton has to offer has to be the house platter with spicy buffalo chicken wings, lamb koftas, pork scratchings, Manchester egg, tzatziki, hot sauce, blue cheese dip and a warm apple and mustard dip. If you’re looking for something a little bit lighter we absolutely love the vegan superfood salad with roast sweet potato, rosemary and paprika, quinoa, tender stem broccoli, almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts and watercress with lemon oil.
