The whole experience was first class , served by lovely young lady, the food was excellent, and my daughter really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, all very good.
Fantastic as usual. Best steak in town. Always been the best
Brilliant service, food and view from the window. We had a lovely dinner!
Service was really poor! Sat with empty dinner plates in front of us for at least half an hour! Had to hunt a member of staff down to get a bill then the same again to pay it! Don’t think we will hurry back.
Lovely food relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Would highly recommend.
We got our time wrong & turned up an hour late!!!! Staff could not have been more pleasant & found us a table! Every member of staff was so friendly & efficient with a big dose of personality thrown in. Excellent food, will certainly recommend & will definitely be back. Excellent.
Great meal and great service. Always enjoy The Grill Room.

Food was excellent so was the service will visit again
Food, Service and atmosphere were very good. Portion sizes better than most restaurants in their class.
We love this restaurant and as always we have a really great meal. We both had the haggis spring rolls which was good but the stat is the jam that comes with it, I could have ate a bucket full. I had the potato cake as a main and it was excellent so hope they keep it on the menu. If your in the city and want a really good meal look no further than here
Lovely food and excellent service will definitely return in near future.
Fabulous food as usual, staff friendly and professional as always. Can’t fault this restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Limited choice of wine by the glass.
Nice food. Fresh loaf of bread with soup is a nice touch. Amazing puddings and all food is nicely presented.
Excellent service friendly staff will be back again very soon
Lovely food, very friendly and efficient staff, wonderful ambiance. Will definitely recommend and return.
The lunch was exceptional and the staff were very helpful We would definitely be going back there the next time we are in Glasgow for any special shows .
This is a lovely restaurant looking down on the square and always looks great inside The dining area. I like the fresh small loaf you get while waiting for your starters it just sets your meal up rather than just a slice. The star is the steaks and I always have the ribeye and my wife the fillet. Great meat and well cooked which sums up the whole meal a great dining experiance and top quality cooking. Already looking forward to my next visit.
Good food ,excellent service, reasonably priced . Only fault i could find was restaurant was noisy and could not hold a conversation while having our meal.
Lively restaurant with excellent meat menu, probably not good for vegetarians or people with mobility problems as quite a lot of stairs to climb. Service was pleasant and efficient. Our third visit and it's maintained its high standards
Yet another really good meal at the grill. I live the small loaf they give you to start your meal it’s a great touch. My wife had the fillet with mash that she really enjoyed but the glazed carrots are the star dish for her. I had the market special which was a baked cod fillet with nochi in a cream sauce which was fantastic and should be a standard dish in my option so if it’s on offer you must try it for yourself.
Starters were mediocre, fillet steak x2 was alright but not good quality one was quite fatty, nice enough restaurant but very much overpriced for you get in terms of quality and service, there are better places around Glasgow
Great food great service nice atmosphere and very good value on the Sunday lunch menu. Wine menu also had a good selection at reasonable prices.
This was our time at this restaurant but definitely not the last my wife had the chicken liver parfait and it was excellent. We both had steaks and I went for the bone in ribeye again could not fault it . It was a really well cooked tasty steak and the sides were a great supporting act especially the chunk chips and carrots not forgetting great onion rings so I would highly recommend you give it a try. I know I will because I made another booking as soon as I got home
Seats starting to look shabby, service not very attentive food was ok but would not recommend it if someone asked. Overall quite disappointing value for money
Fantastic lunch at The Grillroom. Service was friendly and attentive but not over the top. The quality of the food was first class. We shared a starter of haggis Bon Bon’s, followed by the mushroom risotto cake served with asparagus, poached egg and a butter sauce- the flavour of the mushrooms was amazing and was absolutely delicious. Dessert was tiramisu, which I couldn’t fault. The chunky chips side dish are the best I have tasted, will definitely return.
We had a lovely time, nice atmosphere, well presented decor, great service and beautiful food, also very good value thank you for a lovely evening
