Sunday lunch which was really good as usual, really nice to have pork offered as a choice! Staff team were good, and mix of families including small babies added to the atmosphere.
Staff and food really good. Location fabulous with amazing views
We booked so that we could be sure of a table inside for a Sunday roast, and it was the most amazing roast I have ever seen, a huge variety of vegetables as well as very tender beef. The only downside was we had no room for pudding at all!
Great food good service. Had a lovely evening with family and friends.
Lovely food and very fast service. Good portion sizes and gluten free options
Great service and a wide range of menu choices. The butchers board was amazing. Good atmosphere inside and out with the castle ever present.
First time on recommendation from our camp site. Friendly service, great food .
Good food and efficient friendly staff! What else to say...
Staff was friendly, food was delicious. Will definitely come again.
Very welcoming for us with our dogs, lovely big table and fabulous food and service.
Tasty food but wine menu has changed however we ere given excellent choice information which enabled us to choose a lovely wine!
Excellent food and portion size and service was good 👌
Food was lovely and fresh. Staff especially friendly Fast efficient service
The food was generally great but was let down by lukewarm chips with a spoon of powdery cheese on top that were advertised as parmesan fries. The pub has a great ambience with interesting decorations except for a large TV screen showing a political debate on the Friday evening we were there. Very strange - I'd get rid of it or atheist only put it on if there are specific sporting events your customers want to watch
booked th greyhound because we were on a road trip. The service and food was very good. I had the roast beef and it is one of the best I have had
Service was great, food was great, very busy lunch time, unfortunately I ordered a dietary requirement and there was a small mistake, but staff were awesome in correcting it and were super knowledgeable. Would still come back again
The Staff were welcoming and the Sunday Roast was amazing
Great service from all the staff especially the young lad. IPA to die for. Pork dish was amazing
The menu, food choice and atmosphere were excellent and we were impressed by the wine and wine list. We at outside with view of Corfe Castle which was magical in the evening light. A wonderful experience!
Good menu and good service, tasty full plate of food as well !!
Always pleasant staff very happy and jolly clean ant tidy
Food doesn’t live up to the prices, service good !
We came in half hour earlier than we had booked. No problem Courteous quick service. Rump steak was exactly how I asked for it to be cooked. But the best was cold Purbeck cider. We travel a long way for that👍😎
Great meal and service will be back next time we are in the area.
Friendly warm welcome followed by friendly and attentive service, and there was the food. Absolutely spectacular is all I can say about our meals, and seeing what other people had made as want to return again.
Lovely team and really great ambience. The food is a bit bland but all in all still a great experience
We visited the Greyhound on Saturday 25th May for a drink and to listen to the live music. The food that was being served looked fresh, well presented and plentiful so booked for 3 of us for Sunday roast. We were not disappointed. We were met by friendly staff, shown to our seats and had a drink ordered within 5 mins. Having checked the menu earlier we had one roast lamb, one pork and one beef Sunday lunch. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty. The extra dish of cauliflower cheese was more than enough for 3 people. We were asked several times by staff if all was OK, not too much to interfere with our dining, just enough to show someone cared about the customer. We will definitely be booking again when we are in the area, and telling others about the Greyhound too.
The greyhound has a great location and is very popular in Corfe Castle and adjacent to the castle ruins . It was a very b/h weekend but they had lots of staff on so the service was very good and attentive staff. The food was ok but nothing special my pizza could have done with a little longer in the pizza oven to be perfect. My husband burger was tasty but fries very bland and processed. My other gripe was having to go to the inside bar ourselves to get a better selection of drinks as we were dining in garden and it had a separate ( less well stocked) garden bar which the waiting staff could only supply drink from. This ment i was at the bar when my food arrived. I could not see why the waiting staff could not just order our drinks from the main bar as they were going on the same tab anyway and we ordered several rounds of drinks anyway. You might want to consider your policy on allowing waiting staff to get drinks for their customers from main bar to increase profitability and keep paying guest happy.
Cosy atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming staff. Prompt service and terrific food . Really impressed and will recommend to our friends.
Had a lovely meal at The Greyhound. The pub had been recommended to us by a friend and was definitely worth the recommendation given. Excellent food, service and value for money. Will definitely visit Carl and the team again when next in the area. Thanks team : )
Service and food were excellent! Definitely recommend or return to if I was ever in the area again.
The best Sunday roast ever! Lovely staff and views plus great atmosphere
Enaged staff and very good food. Location guarantees customers so hats off to the crew for treating everyone as special
Lovely food served by charming helpful staff. Definitely eat there again.
A lovely old pub and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was delicious. Would recommend this pub - definitely worth a visit.
Food was ok but chicken was over cooked and not as good as previous visits
Cozy inn atmosphere. Friendly efficient service. Very accommodating with my dietary restrictions. Delicious food!
Waiting staff very attentive, not in your face, landlord most obliging 👍👍
Fabulous from start to finish. Greeted warmly by a very affable waitress. Order taken quickly. The menu is comprehensive and has lots of tasty options. I had the cod and chips. Absolutely delicious. The other member of staff was a friendly and efficient man.
Food amazing staff were lovely but live lunchtime entertainment not necessary and very loud!
Very lovely pub and great garden onto Corfe castle! Food is amazing and great portion sizes.
Excellent food, generous portions, very pleasant efficient service. Stunning location.
Great vibe, great food, great visit, altogether absolutely super pub
This was our second visit as last year we were so impressed. We had another absolutely fantastic meal and portions really are very generous! The staff were again incredibly friendly. We'll certainly be back next time we're here to see family. Tha ks for a lovely evening!

Good food, Welcoming and helpful service. Would eat there again
Excellent food and excellent service from Perry who went out his way to serve us
We rebooked after another brilliant lunch dining experience. The food is brilliant, menu choice, staff and ambience. You have a choice of inside, under cover or outside over looking Corfe castle.
Excellent service and good food very enjoyable visit on a wet Saturday evening
Friendly staff, quick service and large portions. Really enjoyed our meals here, especially the vegan pie
