The Sunday roast was quite disappointing - the lamb was not traditional roast lamb, but slow cooked and it was piled high on the plate with huge amounts of fat which was off putting.

Superb Sunday roast, great selection and lots of excellent veg. It was a late lunch so was'nt expecting it to be as fresh as the start of service, but it could'nt of been better. Great stuff

Lovely evening at the Greyhound. We sat in the garden overlooking the castle. Thank you for accommodating my coeliac diet !

Such a friendly greeting when we arrived, we were shown to our table, we received very polite and efficient table service throughout. Our roasts were superb. I had lamb which was delicious, my husband had the chicken roast which he equally enjoyed every bite of! It was the tastiest roast we have had for a long while with everything cooked to perfection. There was a service charge but our server told us very politely that this was completely optional but as it was more than deserved and because she explained that so nicely we were more than happy for it to be added to our bill. We would highly recommend and we will visit again. Very happy customers!

Service generally good but tired of waiting at our table to pay after receiving the bill, so I went to the garden bar where 4 people were working but, whilst talking to each other, I waited probably 3 or 4 minutes before being acknowledged despite standing there with my wallet and bill in the bar ready to pay.

Great views of Castle in the garden. Great welcome. Be careful ordering Pizza though. it is cooked in a separate kitchen so doesn't come at same time as other food which was disappointing. Overall a 'must visit' place.

The food was great. Being a coeliac I felt very reassured that my meal was suitable. When they didn't have my initial choice available they suggested an alternative. The portions are on the large side but extremely delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this venue to other coeliac sufferers.

Lovely pub with an amazing garden at the back overlooking Corfe Castle. We had the Butchers sharing board and it was fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection. More than enough for two. The service was also great, we were served by Alex who was very attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. Overall an amazing dinner with an amazing view, even saw a brief glimpse and the sounds of the steam train going past. My second visit and would definitely go again!

The food was great and there was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly. It did take long than expected to order drinks and then food. But once ordered the food came within a reasonable time. Will definitely book again when in the area.

Food was average, goats cheese salad was disappointing as mainly leaves and not mixed. Soft drinks very overpriced. Not what it used to be a few years ago.

The meal was ok. At the price I think I expected a higher standard. I would have liked fewer fries but more salad/coleslaw; it comes in a very small pot. The sticky toffee pudding was nice but a bit too sweet. Staff were friendly enough and service was good. Initially it was a bit noisy (children/baby even though we arrived at 7.30pm).

Classic family pub in centre of Corfe Castle. Busy with families, dogs and couples. Good pub menu and food didn't disappoint. If anything, service was a bit quick for us, which might be a strange thing to say,

We were cordially greeted on arrival and taken to our table where different staff took over our care. They were attentive and efficient and I was very impressed with how quickly the food was brought to the table after our order. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The price was reasonable and I definitely feel we got value for money. I want to give special praise to Perry and Ami for the brilliant way they looked after us.

Mix up with the location of the venue; arrived at intended Greyhound Inn only to discover the Quandoo site booking was for another “Greyhound Inn” miles away! Fortunately there was a table available for the number and time of intended booking but we had no idea, until our arrival, that this often happens as numerous other customers had the same experience according to the management.

Fantastic location, service received, food quality, and atmosphere. We have been before, and we shall recommend, and return again. We had booked, dozens more turned up during our meal looking for tables, it was not packed, but if you want to guarantee a spot, its worth booking! Food was on top form, and although we didnt wine, the wine list was varied and good selection.

Lovely pub, cosy feel to it, although there was a slight draft with the door open. We had a voucher which was easy to use, even given a bottle of wine that would have been included in our voucher but we had soft drinks. Lovely food and fantastic portion sizes.
