We had a lovely lunch with our family’s and felt very well looked after. The food was delicious and the perfect spot to then visit Corfe castle
The food was excellent and served quickly. However, was kept waiting for 30 minutes for the bill and had to go up to the bar to pay. Service charge wasn't mentioned when getting the bill. This spoilt what was otherwise a fantastic dining experience and feel a little more attention could be paid to this.
Lovely restaurant. Good food. Problem I had was that I have an egg allergy. There was only 1 item I could eat (I don’t eat fish) Spoiled my experience for a birthday meal
Couldn't fault the service here. Great views of Corfe Castle from the back garden. A row of parking outside front door. Food was well presented and tasty. Extensive menu choice but unfortunately the day we went, a few foods were off the menu so maybe best to check first.
We sat in the covered area of the back garden which was a nice environment, but spoiled a little by the presence of nearby smokers who were within their rights to be there, but that they're permitted so close to the dining area is a shame. The staff at the outside bar were a little loud and coarse whilst entertaining themselves between work which I've reflected in the poor score for service above.
Super fast courteous service with a smile! Great food too.
Visited the Greyhound on a Sunday evening recently when staying in the area. The pub and staff were welcoming and the service OK. We both had the roast beef dinner. Overall the meal was a bit of a disappointment, particularly given the near £20 charge. While the roasted vegetables were good, the beef was nowhere near the quality expected of 35 day aged while the roast potatoes seemed to have barely seen the roasting tin. On the plus side the beer was good.
Lovely pub fantastic roast dinner and lovely staff and fantastic views
Nice location Friendly and efficient staff Good food Liked the Brisket Burgers
Always friendly staff, delicious food and excellent service highly recommend
Food - the impression was preprepared, poor quality and therefore not good value. The ham in the Ham , egg and chips appeared to be thin reconstituted slices of a cheap supermarket type not generous slices off a joint as is usual elsewhere. The other food was also poor quality for the money. A pity as otherwise it is a lovely old pub.
Very friendly staff, very good service, good food and pleasant decor. Dog friendly! Will visit again.
Manager was exceptional. Greeter, take orders, cleared tables and was everywhere. Food good and service good.
Staff fine, starters okay, main course awful. Music too loud, moules off the menu-disappointing.
Succulent rotisserie chicken. A whole chicken between two and we couldntveat anything else, we were so full.
Great service and tasty food. More gf/dairy free options would mean I could come more often. 🙂
A return after 4 years , even better than we remembered , busy but promptly shown to table , drinks order taken and delivered almost immediately, same for the food which was superb . Really busy by now but still great friendly attentive service highly recommended
Portion size was too big. The food was excellent but the amount of food on the plate was off putting and spoilt the experience
One of the servers had several conversations with a couple on the table next to us. It was very dramatic, loud and invasive whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal. I understand servers should engage with their customers (I’m all for that) but this was so loud and over the top. Also one of the subject matters was a rather delicate and private matter about someone who works at the Greyhound had recently had a heart attack. Totally inappropriate behaviour all round.
Very welcoming and good food choice. Nice fish dish on menu.
Lovely pub, the food was fantastic and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The only thing that has stopped me giving this the top score was that my partner doesn’t like chicken and asked for the chicken on his pizza to be swapped with jalapeños. When the bill came we’d been charged and extra £1.50 for the jalapeños. We queried it and were told they weren’t swapped we have to pay extra. Up until this point we were happy to pay the optional service charge, however as we hadn’t been pre warned about this we were a little annoyed and therefore asked the for service charge to be removed. May only be a tiny thing to complain about, but their loss. If we hadn’t been charged the £1.50 they would have made more money off the service charge. However we would 100% return though as the pizzas were delicious. Maybe just something for them to give thought to, for their staff to explain to people there’s an additional charge. Thanks
Great food and friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon.
Friendly and quick service, Excellent choice and quality of food. Relaxed comfortable atmosphere.
Was a lovely experience the food and Service is outstanding
A balanced menu with lovely food and the service was attentive and considered. A great place to visit for lunch or dinner.
The food was absolutely amazing, very quick service and friendly staff . Well done to everyone that works there .
Food good but service rubbish and made it feel very overpriced compared to competitors.
Pleasant surroundings, food okay. Younger staff good older staff not so
Great food & lovely surrounding - I highly recommend it
Food, friendliness of staff and atmosphere all great - I had the shredded brisket bun, amazing - we will be back when next visit the area
Plentiful food but let down because it was only luke warm leaving meal greasy. Very busy Saturday night but no excuse. Customer need to be satisfied but all we received was an apology about kitchen being busy!

Great food and service on a busy day. Thanks to all the team.
Excellent food on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Would definitely recommend.
Great Sunday lunch, busy as ever, but good service. The marquee area makes a nice change and is heated.
Not as long as it could have been but only because of our needs so apologies for only having our excellent main courses! It worked out really well for us and we would come again. My falafel was delicious!
A very popular venue. Food was excellent and the portions were large. We had the Sunday Roast Beef. Highly recommend
Great food. Nice people. Will deffo be going back !
Amazing place service was fantastic starf very friendly and helpful
Wonderful return visit to The Greyhound after we discovered it on holiday this Summer. Fast becoming our favourite go-to eaterie in the area. Cosy atmosphere, warm professional service, and great food. The relaxing choice of background music tonight (70s folk vibe Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Nick Drake etc) made it even more perfect for us tonight for our New Year's Day meal. Lovely!
A good choice of food options on the menu, we went for the sharing boneyard feast witch tasted lovely. Followed by the biscoff cheese cake. Again very tasty. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely eat here again.
Warm inviting environment with lovely staff who looked after us brilliantly. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended
Atmosphere was very Christmasie. Staff extremely helpful and food delicious with good helpings
Had a fantastic meal at the greyhound , and even though we’d booked outside we was accommodated inside as it was so cold. The pub was decorated beautifully and service was amazing. Will def be back
