I have been to the Duke William many times, I live in Lincoln and I took some friends from Wales with me to the Duke and it was always a lovely meal, lovely staff and the atmosphere just great, it always is and of course the building is very old and very beautiful.

Wider choice of dishes on menu. Friendly and prompt service. Tasty food.

Such a lovely restaurant, enjoyed my lunch so much and will be back. Staff are so pleasant and helpful.

The bar and waiting staff were great but they were unfortunately let down by the very mediocre food coming out of the kitchen. I would have expected the pies, gravy, desserts etc to be made on site but they clearly were not. Sorry but we won’t be recommending to friends and family.

Was quite loud, but there was quite a big booking near us, so just really noise from people getting together and enjoying themselves.

The prices are quite high and the portions too small. We left feeling hungry.

Food was fantastic, all cooked fresh and as ordered, including tasty options for the coeliacs and vegetarians in the party. However, it took a few minutes to grab a member of staff to be seated, despite the restaurant at the time being relatively quiet, to be told once seated that since we were late they needed the table back at 8.30 giving us less than two hours to order and eat, thankfully we only had two courses but it felt rushed which wasn't very nice. Even if. We had been seated on time it would still have only given us two hours and considering it took at least 30-40 minutes for the food to arrive it was rushed. However the food was great and the prices were reasonable

Great food a real gastro pub for Lincoln. Good atmosphere.

Knocked off a point for waiting one and a quarter hours for our main course. Luckily we had bread and olives first. But we all enjoyed the food and the Ser ing staff were lovely. Good price for quality food.

Lovely food and an offer of child portion for my elderly mum and her friend, which was great. They decided not and ate most but had a foil take home offer...which was good.

The food was very tasty however 3 out of the 4 dishes were cold when they arrived

The food was absolutely beautiful (i had the steak and it was amazing). The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and the staff are very friendly. There was a table of men who were loud but that’s not the restaurants fault!
