Great food, amazing service in a well organized covid aware environment.

First meal out for a long time, ordering on the app was a bit strange but worked very well in the end. Food was excellent and service friendly. We will be back.

The food was lovely, however, having to use an App to order impacted upon the dinning experience. Additionally, the dinning area was rather cold, so cold that after our meal we did not stay for desert or more drinks and selected to go else where. II

The food and service was excellent and very efficient. I would recommend to friends.

The ordering system was down, so we couldn’t order drinks or food. It’s a shame as I love love love this place.

To be fair the overall experience given the current circumstances was great. The service was well organised and efficient.

It is very difficult for all concerned with the current situation and adaptions; and have to say organisation around that was very good. The food was average and had expected slightly more. The table we were allocated maybe didn't help with the atmosphere. Again difficult with the current distancing requirements, but felt it was in an area that wasn't normally used for diners and felt a little 'open' and 'cold'. Generally, all was OK, bu only OK and didn't leave me rushing to return which is a shame as our previous experiences of the Duke William have been very positive

The staff were very well presented and polite very eager to help with all requests and the food was fantastic! Would definitely be going again

Starters took an hour to arrive and we weren’t impressed with the food as a whole, fish cakes advertised as two but I received one, the pulled pork starter wasn’t great and my in laws asked for pie and chips but were given mash... although it’s still a lovely pub and the waiters/waitresses can’t be faulted for being so friendly and lovely whilst working during these difficult times. If it was based on the staff alone I would certainly give this the highest score but unfortunately the food brought it down.

Service was great, friendly and polite. Took a while to get a starter, but was a busy Saturday night. Food was lovely 🙂.Got abit hard to hear my other half by the end of the night as a party came in and got seated next to us. But over all a great night out.

The duke is brilliant, we had my mum’s 101 yrs old birthday party there and the staff are brilliant, well dress and well mannered. So now, when I come up from Plymouth my mum say eat out at that great place we went for my party. Sold, we eat there.

Food was great - varied menu with lots of vegan and GF options, lovely atmosphere and good service.

The food quality was as usual, a very good standard. However my wife asked for vegetables instead of potatoes with her steak, the quantity she received was disappointing. Does this stop us returning, no we live the place, just takes the edge off a visit

Excellent lunch, great atmosphere and service. Great place to go just for a drink too.

The food was delicious but we were disappointed with the service. Our drinks took a really long time to arrive and when they did we were half way through our meal. We were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu which we did but it never came unfortunately. Lovely venue and delicious food so it was a shame the service let it down on this occasion

Have had better steak than this and service not that good

Cannot fault anything, we weren’t waiting long, food was served piping hot, great chilled out atmosphere, loved it!
