The Duke William has its Covid safe measures absolutely nailed. It was so good to be out somewhere that felt safe, where the staff were obviously pleased to have customers back and where the food was lovely. Thank you all and we will see you again very soon.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, the food was excellent and the service was second to none, our waiter Darren was efficient and has a great sense of humour. Our only gripe was the no cash policy, in itself that is fine but it would've been helpful to know that before hand

All but 4 items on the menu were not available to my partner. It seems that the company has tried to cover it’s back by putting every possible allergen risk (relevant or not) on as many items onto the menu ‘just in case’. Some of the ‘risks’ just did not make sense at all. We didn’t eat and left.

We had the roast which didn’t have much of a variety of vegetables on the plate, and the meal wasn’t very warm, apart from that I always take my 101yr old mum there for a meal when I’ve traveled up from Plymouth to Lincoln, because it’s dog friendly.

Lots of effort to abide by covid restrictions - one way system, space and screens between tables, disposable menus, on line ordering - don’t think they could have done anything more. Food was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. I don’t live locally but this is the third time we have eaten there and we would definitely recommend and come back again.

Anniversary meal out . Was impressed with the changes made in light of Covid and felt safe the whole time I was there . Negatives would be lack of greeting on arrival , stood a good couple of minutes before we were acknowledged by a waiter despite a couple behind the bar who chatted to each other but made no moves to acknowledge us . Food was nice only complaint would be where we were sat near the kitchen as every time a waitress/waiter came past the table wobbled quite badly which made for an uncomfortable seating experience . It was our first visit since COVID-19, very well thought out, very busy, food was great although would be good to see more vegetarian/gluten free options, being both, I found the menu limited.

Food was amazing, drinks are very expensive. It’s a shame we’ve lost the personal touches and interaction with staff because of Covid but the food made up for all that.

Arrived and was allocated table no.4. The table was small and levelled with serviettes under the legs, it was also next to bar with doors open so was very cold and other customers were walking very close to us. We asked if any other tables were available but was told they were all tables for four so couldn’t be moved, we left. Very disappointing as it booked weeks in advance
