First visit to this pub and we were pleasantly surprised. Lady who took our food order was very professional and polite. The room was very cosy and inviting. We ordered starters and mains , fish bites, Brie wedges then a mixed grill and sea bass.food and service was exceptional and prices very reasonable. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely place. Very cosy with the log burner. Food was excellent. Good portions. I so wanted a pudding, but I had no room. We were served by a lovely lady. Will definitely be returning. We've also said we will visit in the week and try the menu.

Took my Dad for his birthday during lunch was quiet but that didn't bother me. The choice of food was excellent. Staff were friendly. Already booked to go again as really enjoyed. The only downfall is the parking as cars are mainly for garage on car park but did mention this. Looking forward to next visit and will try something different.

The best meal out we have had for a long time. Early Saturday evening so only us and two other diners at a time. Service excellent. The main courses were delicious, and the cheesecake dessert was to die for! We booked up to return with two other couples.

The Dog was recommended to us & we were not disappointed. We had a great experience from the approachable friendly staff to the delicious food. We were planning to have a dessert, but when we saw the size of the main course we knew it was going to be impossible. We will visit again but maybe have a smaller main course leaving room for a yummy dessert.

First time visiting the Dog for food and we were so impressed. The Sunday lunch menu is fantastic value for money, and the size and quality of the portions is unbeatable. We had excellent service, never having to wait for anything, really attentive. Our waitress (apologies I didn't get her name) even altered the volume of the music as it was interfering with mum's hearing aids. Nothing too much trouble, we will absolutely be returning!
