First time to the Cross Keys, we found the venue, food and atmosphere good.

It was a beautiful day and we had seats near the enormous opening window so it felt very much like sitting outside but pleasantly cooler and no flies. The staff were welcoming and attentive and food and table service was faultless. Our American friends loved the mixture of old and new

My favourite restaurant. In all the years I’ve been eating at the Crossed Keys I have never had less than a perfect meal. I don’t know how they are so consistently spot on with the food and service.

We had a lovely meal, with reasonably prompt and extremely friendly service. To be fair to the staff they were very busy and did respond to our requests as soon as they could. We would definitely recommend this pub/restaurant and will go again. Lovely décor and the pub garden was very nice too.

Table of 7 - for my Son's 28th birthday. We had an amazing evening and Aaron who was our waiter made out night. He was so friendly and welcoming - nothing was a bother for him and nice to see someone who clearly loved what they are doing as it came out in his demeanor

A table for ten at lunch time - service, selection and quality of food, coffee and atmosphere were all great. Everybody loved the restaurant, its setting and the decor. We were all served at the same time and I believe we had great value for money. Would fully recommend for a large or small group.

Service was good and the choice of food varied. I chose lobster tail risotto which was delicious and my companions were equally happy with their choices.

The meal we ordered was cold and when we asked for another meal the manager said we had to wait as they were busy, I was disgusted and I am seriously considering calling health and hygiene to call in as they serve cold and raw food to paying customers

The Cross Keys is a regular favourite for us. This was our first visit in 2019. As great as ever. Good food, attentive & friendly service and decent value.

This pub has gine from strength to strength since it’s refurb. It’s attractive, food reliably good and service friendly and efficient. Would quite like some ‘specials’ on the day as menu getting slightly tedious...

The Cross Keys transformed the bar and restaurant last year. The food was always excellent, but the redevelopment was undertaken with sensitivity to the surroundings and they have created a superb place to enjoy great food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are still as friendly and efficient as before. On this occasion they were dealing with several Christmas parties but dealt with us as efficiently as usual. Thank you and well done!! Michael
