Lovely food great service stall were friendly and welcoming shame it’s closing

This is our favourite restaurant which sadly will be closing at the end of the year. We have been many times and celebrated lots of special milestone birthdays and anniversaries. We have always had delicious food, exceptional Silver Service and the staff are wonderful. Tonight was no exception and we thoroughly enjoyed Eden J who was the cabaret. Bye bye Cranleigh. We will miss you 😔

Superb food as has always been the case over many years. Service is friendly and professional and the atmosphere is lovely. Been coming here for many, many years so such a shame it's closing at years end. Thank you to all associated with the Cranleigh for many happy memories.

All food was excellently prepared and presented piping hot. Some starters are generous, so KIV when ordering mains/sides. We did have a 25 min wait for a booked 7:30 table, and ordering/wait times for courses were not short. Mains did not arrive until gone 9pm. The restaurant was also quite hot, so advice is to not overdress warmly! Having said all this the food and staff were excellent. Chicken liver in madeira sauce, and sirloin with red win jus for me was really good. 3 people, 2 courses each, and 1 bottle each of Montepulciano and French Sauvignon Blanc £195 with 10% service charge. Fair price.

Restaurant has a good atmosphere, the service is excellent, the menu suits everyone and the food is well cooked to order. The dessert trolley amazing, especially the lemon posset. A lovely afternoon

Stuffed mushroom and goats cheese was amazing. Sole was a tad over cooked. Tiramisu still one of the best ever tasted.

I took 7 guests to the Cranleigh with me. It was their first experience of dining there. We had the Sunday lunch menu which was superb. We all thought the food was delicious and great value for money. The sweet trolley was a huge success as you don't see this in other restaurants now. The staff were attentive and everyone really enjoyed the experience.

The staff was outstanding as usual, all ways serving you with a smile and making sure everything was ok. The food was just outstanding highly recommended the pork belly the desserts trolley had so much choice. The atmosphere is one of a friendly ambiance. Will be sad to see it closest the end of the year.

Favourite restaurant of many years. Preferred the normal venue but the Christmas set menu is good value but somewhat limited for our pallet. Lovely waiting staff and not rushed as some restaurants like to hurry you along.
