Lovely having the fire on in the bar area, we had a lovely table with comfy seats. Food was yummy and we loved the giant Yorkshire pudding that the roast came in! Yum. All the staff we friendly and available if you needed them even though they were busy.😋

No chicken roasts left at 4pm on a sunday and it is the only meat we like or that the children eat. We tried the beef but was not for us. The yorkshire wrap was soggy. Potatoes and veg hard and over cooked. The children would not touch the beef.

First visit to a pub since C-19 and really impressed with the procedures they had put into place. Some other guests not really doing their bit to social distance but cannot fault the staff. Will be back!

Visited for a Birthday meal. There was a large group of 9 people seated at a table near us who were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talking to one another. Little social distancing - a group were waiting to pay (7 people) stood very close to us and the next table stood behind our chairs for photos (not the pub's fault - people are just too blase). Nice meal but at the moment I think the risk is just too great to try again.

Lovely food but because we were a large party, we had to wait over 30 mins before having our food orders taken which put a dampener on things as they knew we were there as part of a celebration.

We went for a Sunday roast which was delicious - good selection of interesting vegetables and huge Yorkshire puddings. My husband and I decided to be good and try the vegetarian wellington. It was very tasty in itself, but I'm not sure it went all that well with the traditional roast trimmings as it was filled with a kind of tomatoey ratatouille mixture. We still enjoyed our meal though. We're always fans of the Crafty Cow because of the kids' play area, and their general tolerance of kid-related chaos in that half of the pub at lunch times!

Great, tasty food (roast) which arrived quickly. The children’s play area was brilliant- made the whole thing more enjoyable as eating out with a 2 year old isn’t always easy!

Food was not as described - we all had brioche buns instead of ciabatta. The lamb was minced - like it was out of a tin. We had to wait approximately 1 hour for food and the waitress had to take our order twice as she lost our first order. Has a lot of potential to be a great pub but did not meet expectations.
