Our overall experience at The Cradock Arms was really positive. We enjoyed excellent food and had really good service. We would definitely go back again.

The menu offers a wide range of appetising offerings. The food was well prepared, cooked and presented. The service was very good, too. Sadly we were too full to sample the desserts!

As always, fantastic food, fantastic service and amazing price. Nothing can go wrong. My suggestion is: book in advance, go there early, have few drinks from beers to ales and then enjoy your meal!

Service and ambience all as expected for a busy Saturday evening. Food good, just not very inspired and not enough vegetables or choice for me.

Some interesting dishes to choose from, well-cooked, good ambiance, friendly staff. We eat here several times a month, and never disappointed. And the value isn't bad either!

Excellent Sunday lunch and we were well looked after by the friendly staff, the food was fresh and well presented and even though it was a busy lunchtime we didn't have to wait for our meals to arrive.

7 of us went for Sunday lunch - the staff were friendly and helpful, there was a good choice of meals, and the service was prompt. No complaints about the quality of the food, though we felt the portions, particularly the vegetables and the desserts, could have been a little more generous.

Staff very welcoming restaurant exceptionally clean and smart. The food and choice of food was amazing, can’t think of anything negative to say about Craddock, we enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back next week.

Had a lovely meal from the new menu. It's a shame that none of the old favourites survived the menu revamp and the prawn cocktail is particularly missed! The smoked mackerel salad was very tasty, but not really a substitute. Best roast lamb I think I've ever had!!

They are very kind. Just one thing: Just double check we you order gluten-free food if you are intolerant to gluten. They have gluten free options, which is great! We ordered a dish that usually comes with bread. Obviously, we asked to remove it when we ordered. However, it came with two slice of (gluten) bread which is not good for contamination issues. Aver all, the rate for us is 5. Enjoy

We had a few hours baby free amd we enjoyed a very lovely sunday lunch. The vegetarian options were very very nice. The service was wonderful as well!

Superb Sunday lunch. Birthday party of 6 and we all had different dishes, all of which were delicious. Staff were absolutely lovely - efficient, helpful and friendly. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will definitely return and recommend to all.

The food was lovely, I had the beef and although it said this will be cooked rare thankfully it wasn’t. The staff were really polite and helpful. Would definitely return.

Great food in a pleasant atmosphere served by pleasant staff. Service was a bit slow on this occasion but we were not in a rush so it wasn’t a problem.

I go to The Craddock Arms quite a lot because we always we have a very nice meal there. Last night was no exception the food was excellent and the service very good.

Great food, Sunday Lunch having beef & pork roasts with roast pots and veg. Sweets were delicious Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee puds. Then coffee.

Good service but the food was disappointing. The roast beef was overcooked, the pork was very fatty. Perhaps 2pm was too late for Sunday lunch.

We had a really great time here - the Sunday roast was amazing, great portions and the puddings were rally nice too. Such a cosy pub!

Meal good as always. However restaurant was cold. Not good when temperature outside was -3.

This is a smashing pub, really cosy and a great Sunday lunch. They have a good selection of draft beer. Booking system for Sunday lunch went without a hitch.

Smiling staff and excellent value food. I had the vegetarian option of mushroom wellington, it was wonderful. The specials board looked very interesting and changes often.

As always the service and good were both excellent. Good variety of food including a Specials menu and a very good choice of dishes on the children's and desert menus. Lovely, freshly cooked, food! Booking a table is not always necessary but, if there are several of you, it is a good idea to do so.

Our three meals were excellent although waiting for first order for 45 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant is too long and very unusual for the Cradock...

Sunday lunch was excellent. Only marked down because (i) was told were booked up when tried to move time in advance, when they clearly weren’t (there is plenty of space and unused main rooms); and (ii) we didn’t find the two female staff (students possibly) on the tables very professional. We asked for a slight variation to the menu (due to one of the party being ill) and were treated with disdain for doing so, with a ‘can’t do’ attitude, and subsequent whispering between them, eye rolling etc. which was off putting. May give them a second chance because the food was good, but was an unpleasant experience, especially after a two hour drive to get there and catch up with relatives.

A lovely relaxed atmosphere, good food, good service made for a lovely evening with my friend and daughter. The waitress was very pleasant and hospitable.
