The Cradock Arms

We had a lovely Booth which wa just right not too far from the open door which gave fresh air on a very warm day. Food was just hot and plentiful.

When they brought our meals out mine wasn’t what I ordered they took it back so I had to wait 10 minutes while my 2 friends were eating. When it did come it was very dry. I didn’t enjoy it and it was taken off the bill. I was offered a drink but I was driving so didn’t have one. A shame because I’ve eaten at the craddock many times and have always enjoyed it.

The 3 of us had lovely meals as usual. Just found the background chatter from the bar a bit loud, however it is a pub so to be expected.

We had a lovely table in a corner by the window, there was great selection of dishes on the menu and the food was delicious. We were even entertained by Morris dancers.

Another great meal at the Cradock Arms. Squid rings are fabulous.

Had a great evening. The only problem was the waiter got our food order wrong. When we told her she did take the dish back and chef made us a fresh new dish. What would have been good is that she could have apologised for her mistake. These things happen just own the mistake. Our bill clearly showed the wrong dish at the end of the evening.

A proper pub. The beer is very well kept and perfect, a rare thing nowadays. The food as usual is proper food well cooked, not chain pub warmed up mush. I whole heartily recommend this pub. And a beer garden to.

As usual the service, food and drink were great, the restaurant can be a bit noisy but we moved to the bar where it was very comfortable.

Never had a bad experience here. Local staff who go the extra mile. Very polite and friendly. Chatty too! Food is great.

10 guests and yet we had excellent service. Food came out together and was great. Service as ever was brilliant.

The only bad thing was the music was too loud! At one point they turned it up when the pub was quite crowded and lots of people talking. The ravioli dish was amazing! Beautiful balance of flavours. Will definately come back for it again.

Thankfully booked a table. Not been to The Cradock for years (maybe 30 years!) hottest day of the year so far and the garden was rammed. Lovely atmosphere full of glamorous, good natured people enjoying the sunshine. Met with 2 old friends, all ladies in our 50’s. The food was great and reasonably priced. I guess the place has recently been refurbished as looked very fresh. The young lad who served us looked very busy but was attentive, polite & smiley. We had a great time, thank you

Fab good as usual, Porto chicken was delicious. Noise level from a load of teenagers in the bar was very loud.
