A delicious meal and lovely place. Friendly staff and great chef with a good range of choices
Lovely meal and friendly helpful staff. Only down side was found the booth a bit difficult to get in and out of
It was a good meal - I just think there needs to be more veggies with the Sunday lunch, apart from that it was good
Great food and atmosphere, would certainly recommend to anyone for a easy meal out. Partner is in a Low FODMAP diet and they accommodated her needs really well
The menu seems to have changed in the last few months, not for the better. The steak sandwich now has pesto and some other sauce .. Also when you serve salad please do NOT add dressing as it will get left if peeps do not like dressing. In fact the salad looks delicious without dressing and something I would eat but not with. If you need to include dressing for the salad please leave this separate. I think you are getting this comment...thanks!
We have been going to the Cradock for years mostly Saturdays before and after football also Weddings-birthdays etc. The food as always been good and the staff very helpful
The food is always of a high standard and really delicious. The staff are cheerful and friendly ,overall one of my favourite pubs in Leicester.
The food is always of a really high standard and great choice. The staff are always friendly and helpful with a ready smile. The whole place has a warm and welcoming feel about it. We will always eat there when we're in the area.
always consistant at the craddock. very nice for sunday lunch. I had a special coronation chicken pie which was delicious. service was a bit slow but we were not in a rush so overall it was very good.
Excellent food and service as usual would recommend a visit
Excellent as usual and now with a new menu choice. Our regular eating place with great food and helpful staff. Can recommend it to anyone.
Food was great when it arrived! Lovely menu of roasts; yummy vegetables too - and comfort food puds. Sunday obviously busy. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Lovely garden area too.
As a family we had a lovey meal the staff were brilliant as more people arrived than had booked and there was no problem with moving things around
We normally have great food and service here. Unfortunately this time we were sat in a booth by the toilets and were either forgotten by the waiters or served twice. After nearly two hours we gave up waiting for someone to take our pudding order and paid. There seemed to be no system or communication among the staff. After we’d paid we were asked for our pudding order and then asked if we wanted the bill. My partner left a £5 tip which I thought wasn’t deserved.
As always the food was excellent, hot, freshly prepared, and well presented without being pretentious. Good service, good guest ale and wine choice. Well done Leah and co. at the Cradock!
Excellent service and meal. Will definitely go there again. We were a party of six magistrates who all were impressed with the Craddock and all hope to go again
Once again food excellent and staff so helpful ! Looking forward to my next visit as I enjoy all at this location ! Thank you .
Excellent food Brilliant customer service received with good attention to detail Would recommend to family and friends Great value for money Will be back again
Food was great, service impeccable - really quick. Did not have time to feel starved! Staff were really polite, friendly and professional. I had never been to The Craddock Arms before. Had met a friend there few days ago for drinks and really liked what was on the menu hence booked a table. I had an amazing experience.
Lovely food well presented and tasty quite slow service but good service however was charged twice for drinks but was resolved when questioned at payment of bill
Lovely meal and great service, staff very attentive - drinks bought to the table. Puddings especially tasty and big enough to share (or so we found).
As always, quality food and service, added together with a great range of beers wines and spirits to make a great atmosphere. Always worth a visit
Helpful, friendly staff. Lovely food with plenty of choice at good prices. This was our second visit within the last eight weeks and would certainly recommend.
Fabulous Sunday lunch. Good generous portions cooked to perfection .very reasonably priced . Nice atmosphere and the service was good . Will definitely be going back again .
We always enjoy the craddock arms, the food is always fresh and wholesome. We both had the cod this time and it was cooked to perfection, the batter was crisp the fish was just perfect and the food is always presented nice. The staff are always willing to assist in any way.
always first class food is always tasty, hot and perfectly cooked.
We regularly eat at the Cradock Arms and always enjoy the experience. The staff are very attentive and cheerful and friendly too. The food is absolutely brilliant and very good value. This is an excellent venue for family gatherings of any size and children are well looked after and catered for. Sunday lunch today was beautiful and the guest we brought with us thoroughly enjoyed her roast turkey and peach cobbler and the meal was a great success. Many thanks.
my second time here. have now booked for Christmas ..very good food nice staff..what more could you ask for.also good selection of wines and ales.
Steak and Ale Pie and the service was brilliant. Will definitely go there again. Lovely staff in a lovely pub making it a really enjoyable night
Good service, good choice of food and drink combined with reasonable price made this a happy family event. It was easy to book and to park.
On the whole good, but did feel the person who took our drinks order was somewhat judgemental. We were 5 adults and 2 small children, after ordering six non-alcoholic drinks (4 adults were drivers) the person whose birthday it was ordered a beer (he was not driving) to which we got the remark “at last someone’s ordered a proper drink” whilst being responsible drinkers you do not want to feel you should be ordering alcohol - perhaps he was on commission
I enjoyed my meal with my Grand daughter. The food was very good and the staff friendly and helpful I will be going again soon. Graham.
Our visit was as usual excellent ,lovely food, polite service, good parking area.we will be back as weus this as an easy place for our birthday get toethers
Have been to the Craddock many times and have never had a bad meal, last nights meal was no exception. Our waitress was lovely and the service was prompt. I would always recommend the craddock for a pleasant meal and evening.
the food is always top quality we go back every two weeks and we never get fed up of it.
We had a delicious meal. Two of us chose ham and eggs with the best chips so far this year. The pie and mash were also excellent. only reason not a 5 star review was the fourth person ordered a chicken salad which was delicious but a small portion. Overall a great visit as always.
It was a good table friendly service. Food was good quality and presented very well. The meal didn’t get to the table very quickly and I noticed this...hence not a 6.
Friendly, lively pub. Good beer & wine, excellent food at sensible prices. Attentive staff. A good range of food and drink. We were really pleased to find it.
Lovely meal with friendly and attentive staff. There were only 4 or 5 other tables eating but we felt the wait for food was noticeably long. This is the second time we've waited a long time. Last time we went we waited an hour and a half and they admitted they had mislaid the order and/or the chef hadn't seen. Luckily the food was good and evening wasn't spoilt on either occasion. Needs mentioning though.
Food excellent as was service. Seating not very convenient for us elderly patrons. Why do you need an extra twelve words to complete the review?
Came here for a birthday dinner 12 people. Food came out altogether and was excellent as usual.
Service was excellent, but the Greek salad was very disappointing. £7.00 for a very small bowl of iceburg lettuce, a few chopped tomatoes and very little feta, did not represent good value for money. For nearly the same price I could have had the large beef baguette, that came with a side salad and fries ! It really didn't make sense and was a bit of a rip off really. Disappointing !
Great food and excellent service every time I come here. Staff are very attentive and friendly and always a good selection of food which is served fresh and hot
A lot of the vegetarian menu items were not available. One of us came as specially for the mushroom Wellington but when we were told it wasn't avaliable we ordered another dish that you only had one avaliable and two of us has ordered it. Then when we choose another dish it was not enjoyable.
The food was very good as always. This time, however, the service was very slow. It may have been due to there being very few waiting staff and only one chef
Very impressed as hadn’t been there for a very long while. The service was extremely efficient and the food was extremely good, so we will definitely be back soon.
Excellent quality and quantity food. Nice garden to eat in on a warm summer evening. We have been there a few times and it is always consistent.
Great customer service and good quality food. Would highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Nice beer garden for some drinks after dinner too.
Despite being extremely busy we were very satisfied with the service that we received. The drinks, food and staff were all excellent and contributed to an enjoyable meal.
As usual, good service and great food, freshly cooked. Always consistant good quality. Good choice of beers wines and spirits too. Great garden area for chill out days !
