we were a party of three adults and one child.Enjoyed good food and good service.we have not had a bad experience here yet and dont expect to
Superb Sunday lunch. Birthday party of 6 and we all had different dishes, all of which were delicious. Staff were absolutely lovely - efficient, helpful and friendly. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will definitely return and recommend to all.
The food was lovely, I had the beef and although it said this will be cooked rare thankfully it wasn’t. The staff were really polite and helpful. Would definitely return.
Nice atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Great food and not too long a wait. Very tasty and hot. Good choice of meals and a nice specials section too. Definitely need to book though
Enjoyed a Sunday roast at the Craddock on a cold snowy afternoon. Food was excellent.Lovely cosy restaurant, staff attentive.Reasonable prices. We will definitely visit again. .
Service was good and staff friendly. The food was very nice and well presented. The Sunday menu is fairly limited. I would like to more variety.
Great meal. Prompt service and very friendly staff. This was the third time we have visited and all visits have been good. The plates were nice and hot and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great food in a pleasant atmosphere served by pleasant staff. Service was a bit slow on this occasion but we were not in a rush so it wasn’t a problem.
I go to The Craddock Arms quite a lot because we always we have a very nice meal there. Last night was no exception the food was excellent and the service very good.
Just had a wonderful evening, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely as were the staff! Worth noting they don’t play loud music which was a welcome change!
Very busy in dining area and pub, lively atmosphere. Staff efficient and friendly. Food nicely presented and enjoyable. Good value. Will go again. Parking difficult
Great food, Sunday Lunch having beef & pork roasts with roast pots and veg. Sweets were delicious Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee puds. Then coffee.
Good service but the food was disappointing. The roast beef was overcooked, the pork was very fatty. Perhaps 2pm was too late for Sunday lunch.
We had a really great time here - the Sunday roast was amazing, great portions and the puddings were rally nice too. Such a cosy pub!
We enjoyed our visit to the Craddock Arms this lunchtime. The meal was very good, the staff were very pleasant and the price was very reasonable. We shall certainly come again.
Meal good as always. However restaurant was cold. Not good when temperature outside was -3.
This is a smashing pub, really cosy and a great Sunday lunch. They have a good selection of draft beer. Booking system for Sunday lunch went without a hitch.
Smiling staff and excellent value food. I had the vegetarian option of mushroom wellington, it was wonderful. The specials board looked very interesting and changes often.
As always the service and good were both excellent. Good variety of food including a Specials menu and a very good choice of dishes on the children's and desert menus. Lovely, freshly cooked, food! Booking a table is not always necessary but, if there are several of you, it is a good idea to do so.
Our three meals were excellent although waiting for first order for 45 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant is too long and very unusual for the Cradock...
Sunday lunch was excellent. Only marked down because (i) was told were booked up when tried to move time in advance, when they clearly weren’t (there is plenty of space and unused main rooms); and (ii) we didn’t find the two female staff (students possibly) on the tables very professional. We asked for a slight variation to the menu (due to one of the party being ill) and were treated with disdain for doing so, with a ‘can’t do’ attitude, and subsequent whispering between them, eye rolling etc. which was off putting. May give them a second chance because the food was good, but was an unpleasant experience, especially after a two hour drive to get there and catch up with relatives.
A lovely relaxed atmosphere, good food, good service made for a lovely evening with my friend and daughter. The waitress was very pleasant and hospitable.
Food was very nice. However, we waited for nearly an hour from ordering it to it arriving at the table, no on ecame back to our table within this time to take another drinks order. One meal was then brought 5 minutes after everyone else's.
The food and service at The Craddock Arms is top classs. We use it regularly and it never disappoints. Sunday’s are special there. Warm and friendly
My parents, my girlfriend, and I went to The Cradock Arms, today. Good food, good service, and an enjoyable experience, overall. I would recommend this pub.
Good choice of meals. Drinks served quickly but food a little slow to arrive. (We found out later that they were 1 chef down, so they coped well considering this). Nice family atmosphere, not too noisy.
Great place and food though the wait for food was quite long.
First time dining at the Cradock Arms and I was not disappointed. The food tasted fresh and home cooked and there was plenty variety. Will definitely visiting again soon
Excellent food, first class service, rather noisy, but to be expected on a Sat night after a soccer home game for Leicester City. Will become a regular venue for us in the future.
It was fabulous as always. The atmosphere, staff and food was lovely! Just one thing I’d say about the prawn cocktail starter is it would be a lot better if the butter was slightly melted on the bread as we couldn’t spread it. Overall, wonderful!
Much to recommend about The Cradock. The service is very friendly and the Sunday lunch was excellent with good menu and drinks choices and good sized portions.
What a fabulous Sunday lunch. A very well thought out menu and lots of home made puds. Nothing worse than paying a fiver for a piece of previously frozen cake.! The staff were all so nice and friendly. We'll ll be back.
A very popular destination for family at the weekend. Glad we booked in advance. Service was slow due to volume of customers, however the food was excellent and the waiting team were very attentive when they had time.
Excellent food. Staff very attentive. Overall very pleasant visit. We will have no hesitation in visiting again. Large carpark with no problems parking.Very warm welcoming pub
We love the Cradock. The staff are amazing, the food is great value, and the disabled access makes it a wonderful choices for a multi-generational family with various needs. We couldn't recommend it more highly.
Always good food but on this occasion a vegetarian tortellini had meat in. The chef did come out to apologise and was a genuine mistake. He did offer another starter or drink.
Excellent service - well cooked and presented food we had faggots, Curry, fish pie and gammon followed by delicious crepe brûlée - friendly atmosphere - very enjoyable evening for four 60+ satisfied customers!!
We were 5 adults and 3 children celebrating a birthday. Both the service and the food were excellent!
Friendly, helpful staff. Food wonderful, as always. The flaming creme brûlée is a must !!! Nice comfortable seating, offering a cosy environment. One of my favourite places to eat
As usual, great food, good atmosphere and fantastic service. Standard of food consistently good along with a great range of beers wines and spirits, along with soft drinks. Well done to Cradock staff and management

Great food, calm, great for kids. Enjoyed the wine and had a booth so could contain the children. Quick service and great range of food
Nice meal and service was good. Was a little disappointed our party of six were seated in a booth in the corner. it was tight and not a great spot.
Great food and value for money as always. Only negative was food took very long to come out. Almost 45 mins. But they were busy.
My family and I had a wonderful meal on Xmas Eve, very tasty food and fabulous festive atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub for a great night out xx
As ever, perfect food and service. Highly recommend. We had the Christmas menu and the turkey was excellent. Professional and efficient service, but then I’ve never had any other at The Cradock.
Tasty and filling food prepared with care. Lovely presentation. Very helpful staff. They were able to fulfil a request easily and without a fuss. Will definately come again.
Service and meal very satisfactory. Would certainly recommend the Cradock to family and friends. The atmosphere is very inviting and welcoming the perfect place to meet with friends.
Great food, great atmosphere. Not sure what else to put to make it to 25 words. We go there often and it is always good.
We have been coming to The Cradock Arms once or twice a week for about 3 years now. Needless to say we find the food is always excellent, the staff welcoming and courteous and basically we just love it!
