Chris and the staff offer a warm welcome and excellent guide through the menu. Fabulous choice on offer from fish to Chechen and the local meat recommended. Service is efficient friendly and a great value for money restaurant. We have returns many times and it never fails to deliver on quality.

Loved it. Early bird meal deal was great value and the steak we had was cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff were lovely. Older staff really on the ball, my son spilt water on the table and she was straight in with a towel.Younger staff ( girl who took our order) so pleasant. Lovely staff and meal was lovely. Definitely a gem! Family from Carrick!

Service great, food fantastic. Only one down side, it was a little noisy but this wasn’t the fault of the restaurant, just loud customers.

We booked ahead, got there a little early and were shown to a table straight away. I recommend booking as seating is limited. Fresh delicious fish dishes and very nice owners.

We had a delicious meal at The Cellar and were really impressed by the quiet atmosphere provided by the booths. We splashed out and had lobster which was really special. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I were visiting Ballycastle and returned to enjoy this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing. So delicious I cannot find the right words to justify it. I would just recommend that you visit and try for yourself. The service is excellent. Friendly efficient staff who are very attentive. Thank you to the chef and all the staff for giving us such a lovely evening.

What a first class establishment. The food is amazing. Absolutely gorgeous. High standard of cooking. Service is second to none. Staff helpful and pleasant. Staff appear very happy at their work which is a credit to the owners and management. Restaurant ambiance adds to the enjoyment. First visit but definitely not the last. Cosy restaurant in the middle of Ballycastle, with a wide ranging menu. The seafood starters and pork and lamb main meals that my partner and I had were all excellent.

It's true that the pew seats, although characterful, are a little narrow, but there are other chairs available. Very good for fish.

Good food and friendly staff; but seats were narrow and rather uncomfortable.
