Our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. We will return.

Great staff, super service amazing food, cool vibe; overall extraordinary

We had to wait over an hour for our meal. I think it may have been longer if hadn’t asked the staff what was happening .

Nice ambience as always but the food was very disappointing. We gave our views: apologies and a free bottle of wine were kindly offered and accepted.

We really enjoyed the Bibury trout and all staff were very pleasant. The Cotswold gin helped make a very good gin and tonic. It’s great to be able to eat and drink some local products.

We all enjoyed our visit and were made to feel welcome (including the dog). Everyone enjoyed their meal, a very satisfactory day.

Menu and food is below average. Premises in a amazing spot but doesn’t look very looked after

Friendly service, a good meal, felt drink prices were high but it is a popular tourist destination, overall we enjoyed our visit to both the very pretty village and the pub where we had arranged to meet good friends, would go again.

We had a fantastic afternoon experience time. The food was very tasty and well made and the staff were very kind. The dish with the trout was really nice presented and the squid was perfect. The quantity is just what you need if you eat a starter. It’s more than enough to feel full without feeling like you've eaten too much. I’m glad we chose The Catherine Wheel for eating. Definitely coming back every time we visit Bibury.

Enjoyed 3 course Sunday Lunch, great food and service. Booking was easy online. Only one negative from me, would happily give up a roastie for mash. Little oddity - we ordered desserts, 2 spoons with one serviette (same for another table), not sure reason for that

Felt very welcome and roast beef dinner was delicious. My husband also said he loved the Guinness and steak pie.

After dinning at the Catherine Wheel for the past 5 years most Sundays today was the worst roast ever which was absolutely gutting as me and my partner were so looking forward to our meal to be told the normal chief has been swapped with this other chief so will not be returning now which is a shame as the staff there are lovely people

My only fault was that I asked for a drink without ice, but it came with a little ice.

Everything was just perfect ! We had such a great time

we were seated in the restaurant at 7.45, waited at least 30 minutes before a drink order was taken, so we ordered food at the the same time, of which the starter didn't arrive until 8.55. Others were coming in from outside and ordering at the bar and getting served before. The restaurant wasn't that busy either while we were there. The staff did apologise but unfortunately it wasn't a great experience

Despite being short staffed the team worked extra hard to serve everyone, even breaking into a jog at times. Food was excellent, fresh and very tasty . Would visit again anytime I’m on the area

Because we had small silent dog who sat under table we were directed to pleasant side room - but then noisey family with two restless children were sent nearby and that did spoll I’lll our time there.

Lovely lunch in the sunshine after long walk. Whole trout was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and very tasty. This pub is slightly outside the tourist area of the village which made it a much nicer experience!

Lovely friendly pub, excellent food and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a 200mile round trip for lunch and well worth every mile
