Another fabulous lunch at The Bell! So helpful and accommodating for allergies and special requests, eating there is always a pleasure and has become a regular event, both Sunday lunch and steak night!

Superb choice of beer, excellent menu, and the food was to die for! The waitress was brilliant, highly recommended a visit!

The friendly owners work in the pub and could not be more welcoming or helpful. They genuinely care about their food and ensuring customers have great food and a great experience, and nothing is too much trouble - I have allergies and they go above and beyond to make sure meals are adapted and things are substituted. Very good value for money and the kind of place where it is easy to spend time with friends, eat, drink and relax.

The staff were wonderful. Could not praise the staff highly enough. Very attentive , chatted with the chef about what we would eat. The lamb was succulent and the profiteroles were freshly made and the best I have tasted. Will certainly visit again.

Service was very slow,1.5 hrs from ordering to recieving, I believe we were forgotten which isn’t great, food was ok but certainly room for improvement, service staff were attentive but the kitchen let them down hugely Landlord offered a 50% reduction to compensate which was welcome but I would have much preferred a great level of service and to support my local at full price. Kitchen does not match the ambition of the owners,

Was given as a gift so didn’t know what to expect. Was very pleased with the choice of food. The meal arrived well presented on hot plates which is always a plus. Food was well cooked and great tasting. Enjoyed so much we are going to go back.

we were booked in to use are voucher I purchased for I was put off by the first impression as walking threw the door we was welcome with a over wellming dirty dog smell it was very un professional seemed to be run by kids chef came out scruffy as hell, helping himself to beer. two other staff a young girl .with her belly hanging out hair scruffy we sat listening to her life storey her telling rest of them about her parking g fines we had our drink and left the whole place heeds a up lift such a shame we didn't eat we left would not recommend if you want this sort of service never saw tge food put off eating there

The Bell Inn is in a lovely location. The food and drink is excellent and the pub has a good atmosphere. The owners are clearly committed to making a visit a great experience whether just for a drink or for a meal out. We have been several times and the food has always been good. We will definitely be back again.

Service was great, food was okay but a bit more care (crackling, apple sauce) would have made it much better

Generally very convivial, food was good, but mushrooms and tomatoes were cold , which didn’t detract too much, we will be back.

Service could have been better. Too many apologies for items off the menu, waiting for food, forgetting to bring the menu. It appeared that they were running just short of full staff.

We were a bit disappointed by the BBQ as the brisket was really fatty and there was only 2 ribs. There was also no BBQ sauce. The roast dinner was better. We were in the newly refurbished room which we really liked.

Made very welcome our only concern was it took 45 mins from order to receiving our meal..which we thought was long. Service and food was excellent

A few things on the menu were unavailable at 6.30pm, my dinner came without the jus, which I should have mentioned but I didn’t. Wanted to split bill and pay on 2 cards but apparently this couldn’t be done?! Food was good though.

Andy, Tan and the team are out of this world for food, banter but above all their service and smiles. I would recommend anyone passing drop in for the superb food and a drink.

It's been many years since we last visited the Bell. We had an excellent choice of menu and really enjoyed our meals. The bar staff and indeed the Chef were friendly and informative. All that we asked for was provided. Prices for both food and drinks were sensible, we will be back again very soon! Judith & Philip Lobb
