We had a wonderful time - lovely food, friendly staff! I'm sure we'll be back again soon
I love this place - both the atmosphere and the food are great. I especially recommend the mezze!
Lovely food, great atmosphere really nice staff and great service, would recommend for brunch or dinner
The food was delicious and they do a lovely cream tea. All the food was fresh and well presented
Lovely environment with fantastic coffee! Food is always amazing and staff are very friendly!
Great food and chilled out vibe. Also has a bounty of books out back!
excellent variety of teas, friendly service, cosy environment and encourages you to read!
Lovely place to eat. The chick pea, lentil and coconut dahl was to die for. Will most certainly be back for that again. Staff are great and all the food is reasonably priced. Win win.
Very accommodating for a special occasion. Tasty unique menu and homemade cakes!!
Great visit and a lovely atmosphere. The 2 pizzas and 2 drinks for £20 always goes down well!
Lovely food, great service and very enjoyable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
We love the Art of Tea, however as a nut allergy sufferer the new menu is not great. 3 out of the 4 mains have: cashew nuts, pine nuts, walnuts or coconut. Love the atmosphere and great to chill with friends. Good live music. Just disappointed about the newer menu (although I realise I'm in the minority).
Was a lovey atmosphere, a perfect place for a relaxing catch up with friends. Beautiful tea and cakes! Could accommodate large groups, even on a Friday night
Booked table which was ready for us on arrival. Prompt friendly service without being over the top.Good tea in pleasant surroundings. A good place to go.
Very cosy and quirky which was the reason for going in the first place....lived up to our expectations. Food was very good and staff were great. We'll go again which is my best recommendation.
The tea room is homely and a little ‘old school’ quirky. Somewhere you can feel relaxed away from the hum-drum of the world. What else can I say. Great food. Lovely coffee. Wonderful ambience. Good service. Really lovely waitress.
Fine for a meeting and something nicely different. A nice assortment of teas. easy to get to and plenty of nearby parking. Looking forward to next time.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh and tasty. My halloumi salad was delicious.Would definitely visit again. My only complaint would be that the seating needed cushions for comfort, that’s all.
Great service in a pleasant environment. Good food and of course Tea. Great secondhand bookshop connected, ideal for buy a book, have a cuppa. Recommended
The Art of Tea is synonymous to Didsbury without the pretence. Thursdays open mic with Matt is a warm fennel whilst the pizzas are built, if you’re lucky with extras on top, never had a bad dish served at this place. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of music, tea, books, tea, picture framing more tea.....then cake, with beetroot! WTF! :)
The Art Of Tea is one of our favourite places for food. It has a lovely ambience, the people are very lovely and welcoming and the food and drink is absolutely spot-on. We have had the lunch menu on several occasions, but this time around we went there for an evening meal and it did not disappoint - absolutely off the scale! Fantastic.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Would definitely recommend it’s uniqueness, quality of food and excellent service, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting and a bonus of the book shop at the back for browsing
Art of Tea has a really nice atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Went on a Tuesday evening for the 20% off your bill offer and ordered two pizzas - 4 cheese special and goats cheese and artichoke - they were delicious. Sometimes food can take a while to come out, but it's always worth the wait.
Bit cool at front but what a find. Lovely ambience, great food and coffee and a fascinating little book shop. I could live here! Well done.
A lovely quirky corner fo breakfast - and great coffee as well as a huge tea menu. A great range of eats; toast a little underdone for my taste and as it came to the table ready buttered I felt it would be awkward to send it back - perhaps for this reason, I’d suggest butter on the side.
Such an amazing cafe, with an incredible soundtrack. The bookshop at the back is the best secondhand book shop I’ve come across in many a year. Worth a visit just for that!
Heard good reviews through a friend about the food so thought we’d give it a try. Art of Tea did not disappoint. Great food, great atmosphere
Always great! Very chilled out with fab food and a lovely atmosphere. We had the waffles and a mushroom potato hash, and both were fantastic. Tea and coffee were excellent too, with plenty to choose from.
Absolutley loved the kind service and beautiful atmosphere. It was quick, vintage and had beautiful coffee. Very highly recommended and perfect place to have taken my date.
lovely place very small and cosy bookshop at the back, again very cosy friendly member of staff thoroughly enjoyed my hot chocolate while i got some revision done
Have never been before and we both really enjoyed it. Good food and a great selection of teas and coffees. We had the lunch menu and there were plenty of tasty things to choose from. Would definitely go again.
Cosy and characterful place with delicious food. Great for book lovers and art lovers and good food lovers. Good range of teas and live music!!
Very pleasant ambience and fairly good value for South Manchester. Surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime, but service prompt and attentive. Would think booking advisable. Would definitely visit again.
Such a cool place - unique vibe - food great - friendly staff - a hidden treasure would definitely recommend and visit again - 😊
food is out of this world. i keep going back to try everything on the menu. Cooked with TLC. Service is great & such an eclectic place. Feel at home. it just needs some candles that's all
It is a small cafe, but has a varied menu. Food was good as was the service. Waiter was polite and helpful. Unusual to have a book-shop to the rear.
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food and coffee in Didsbury village. Good service and a great bookshop at the back. I loved the French toast and eggs royal.
Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Table reservation there and nice table as requested. Food took quite a long time to arrive but worth waiting for - the black pudding hash was delicious and the soup was good too. Thoroughly recommend the place.
Not the best service, nor the best tea and coffee, but the cake was lovely and it's a very pleasant place to spend your time.
Great lunch, good choice and wide selection of teas. It was a sunny day so the doors were wide open, felt friendly & welcoming. Will be back.
Delicious lunch of quasedilla with spicy refried beans from the specials board and efficient, friendly service. Great that it's now possible to reserve a table here online.
Wonderful food. Great service. Cute book shop at the back. Loved the up-making of the chairs and table, really relaxed environment and cant wait to visit again.
The staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. There was a great drinks list, and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the pie of the day, we both loved it.
We had a really nice time at The Art of Tea. The live music was good (there was a good atmosphere) and the service was friendly.
Great service. A cosy atmosphere. Could have been where we were sitting but a little noisy around the bookshop area. Otherwise a great evening. Thanks
The food and tea was perfect, with the added bonus of being able to peruse the book shelves for all those classics. Good music too.
Lovely friendly staff, l would highly recommend. Food I've cake and tea were scrumptious. Will definitely go again. Only problem, what to choose!!! Go now!
Lovely service and great food. Interesting choice of dishes and beer, and good quantity and quality of food. Fun second hand book shop as well. A great find - will visit again
The Art of Tea is in my top five places. Tom, Phil, Gina and the rest of his team make this a genuine place you automatically want to return to. It has that family feel, a proper community atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble and there's always a smile waiting. Quirky ... Just as I like it. Never had a bad meal there ...... I love the place.
Excellent restaurant. It was relatively quite as I went around 9pm on Monday which was the ideal atmosphere for me to be able to get some studying done there. The food and drinks were both fantastic - they were able to customize the order I wanted for me which was great. I'll be returning more often for sure.
