I go e very week so that shows I love it there 😁
Reviews were really positive, but the food was very mediocre, served with less than a smile and on sticky tables...hardly a quaint English pub serving good home cooked food.
Superb meal , great value. Great staff. Will definitely return
As always we had a fantastic meal in a lovely pub.
We ate at the Abergavenny twice as part of a cycle trip in Kent. Two lovely meals served with a smile. Nice atmosphere.
Lovely food really enjoyed it! However we did wait quite a while for food to arrive and plates to be taken away.
I have been there 3 times in 8 days, so goes to show I love it!
We come here regularly and have always enjoyed the Sunday lunch
Will definitely go back.Sadly the moussaka was a little bland.
Had never been here before, and chose it mostly on location, but it was a great little pub, with a good looking menu and the food certainly did not disappoint when it arrived on the plate!
A super old fashioned Pub with very friendly and helpful staff and always very well prepared and delicious food
Great welcome.... friendly service and good family atmosphere... just what you want on a Sunday. Excellent food
Nice and friendly pub but food wasn't too great. Great beers and alcohol free plus vegan options.
Great place to eat.. Reasonable prices... Lovely staff... Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Lovely meal. Very friendly atmosphere. Good food and service overall
This was a Fathers Day treat and indeed it was. A very superior Sunday roast lunch for a very reasonable price, the beef and lamb were perfectly cooked and very generously portioned, as were the accompanying vegetables and Yorkshire puddings, and all served on piping hot plates! The deserts were excellent with particular praise for the sticky toffee pudding! The service was efficiently supplied by a friendly landlord and young cheerful staff and the ambiance of a country pub, walkers, dogs and all, was perfect. I highly recommend the Abergavenny Arms and I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Just a lovely evening, service was excellent,we were made to feel so welcome and the food was just delicious!!!
Very enjoyable except was a bit of a wait to order food drinks and pay only 1 staff member behind bar who was very efficient but needed assistance
The service and food was superb. Try it out now.
Very nice pub, staff friendly and food great big portion sizes.
