This place is fab, it gets really busy after 7.30, but well worth it. Food is yum!

I am used to Tay Do cafe, but we were at the restaurant this time, and the meals were just as good! Amazing value for money, the only negative point was that the space was really noisy.

Always a fab place to go, fast service and good value for money. Great location and byob - what's not to love.

Fantastic food and amazing staff, We go every year for our Christmas meal and it never fails to impress.

Tay Do is always an excellent choice for Vietnamese! The venue it's self is quite basic, but the food is absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. It's also BYOB which is another great value add!

Tay Do Cafe is great for large group bookings, and the BYO alcohol policy is a massive bonus! Would definitely visit again in the future

Usually go to their main (bigger) restaurant, but thought to change the atmosphere. As both places are the same just size of location diff...the food is tasty as Normal & quick

We went on Mother's Day. The staff were really lovely people, we had some great food and it was very good value. We loved it.

Food was was delicious and bring your own alcohol is always a plus, but service wise we're disappointed. Our extra order never arrived, we got a bill on a table even when we didn't ask for it yet and we needed to ask for a change. We wanted to leave a tip, but that should be our choice, not assuming that the change would be left anyway and not bother to bring it to us. Will get back for food and hope service will improve by then..

great little restaurant in Hoxton. Food is great and the BYO is just a nice add on. The dishes are really cheap and tasty. I recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap Vietnamese meal

Nice friendly restaurant, and they let us stay on our table all evening. Starters of squid and spring rolls were very good. My main was a little bland and could have done with more fresh ingredients (bun cha)

Great food and service, cheap night out and no corkage fee! Just a basic setting so don't expect anything too fancy but the food is amazing.

Unfortunately we turned up and the party on our table was still eating and not had their main courses yet. We were then sent to their sister restaurant that had a large party and they run out of plates to serve food on!! The staff tried their best to accommodate both large tables.

One of my favourite restaurant. Great food and good service. Really worth value. Aubergine dish is the ace, highly recommended. This is BYO restaurant, that makes even better.

We were 15 minutes late and they already given away our table. However, we could get another table for 5 with a little wait. On the Pho Mile, I like Tay Do because it is BYO with onlya pound a head for corkage. They are maybe a little more expensive than some of their competitors, but they make up for it with larger portions. Of the BYO places on this strip of Kingsland Rd, the Tay Do Cafe has the best acoustics. You don't have to shout to have a conversation, even on a crowded Saturday night. Standout dishes are char grilled lamb cutlets, and grilled goat from the starters. Deep fried whole sea bream with chilli and lemongrass and aubergine stir fried with chicken from the mains.

Great food, great service. Love Vietnamese food, and have been there many times before. Fresh, good quality food, quickly served. Easy to find on the main street.

Generally good food across the menu but quality can be inconsistent when they're busy. Booking not usually required and B Y O B means it's great for a boozy gathering.

As always, this was delicious. It's buzzy, authentic and relaxed - perfect for a Friday evening! A bargain too, and the BYO is a bonus.
