splendid home cuisine of Czechoslovakia, tender beef tenderloin as Slovak grannie would do. Pea soup was fantastic.
I visited the Tatra Eastern Corner with my family for a birthday present to my Dad who is Czech. We had such a wonderful time, enjoying delicious, authentic Czech and Slovak cuisine, excellent customer service and atmosphere. Highly recommend this cosy and friendly restaurant. Excellent value for such amazing food and drink. For those who need to know, the Dover Street Car park is a 2 minute walk away and decent prices.
Very welcoming & good service. The food was very good & very tasty. We both had 3 courses & will definately visit again. In fact I visited again with two other friends the following day - everything was just as good - excellent!
Excellent food and service, nice staff, will go again. Thank you
All round excellent food large choice and friendly staff, love it
I love the food here, but it’s the relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff that keep me going back each time.
Fantastic experience. Top bit of goulash. Lovely service and ambience.
Nice and cost place. Not so crowdy as I expected, maybe because of early hours.
Warm welcome, cosy place, fresh draught pilsner, tasty food, selection of authentic liqueurs and spirits. What more could anyone want? I will be back, for sure! Highly recommended.
nice place, good food and a short wait time for a meal
First time here and had a lovely evening. Fantastic authentic food, great value for money. Lovely atmosphere and waitress was excellent. Be back very soon.
We received excellent service from Anna and the food was wonderful.
I was there several times. Great food, pleasant atmosphere. I recommend it.
nice atmosphere nice food good service excellent restaurant be back soon
We were a party of 9, most of whom had never been to Tatra before. Everyone was impressed and said they would go again. Genuine, different, a variety of menu choices, friendly service.
Excellent food, Czech and Slovak slow rock music playing un-intrusively and Pilsner on tap - an experience that will be repeated!
The restaurant is small, but feels cosy. The service was quick and pleasant. The wait for the food was appropriate and worth it, as the food was tasty and fresh. We'll visit again.
Great food, really authentic, inexpensive, what's not to like? 👍
Superb food (our friends we dine with were also amazed), superb service. That's some feat in my experience , all 4 diners delighted. Be there or be square.
We had a lovely time, food was delicious. Authentic too! The music was superb, truly felt at home. The owner let us try some new alcohol and didn’t charge us, which was a generous and lovely touch. We would recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly.
Absolutely fantastic food, the Hungarian goulash was so so good and my partner had the beef tenderloin. Super friendly atmosphere and we will definitely come again!
Very Good restaurant with good staff and very good food
The food was excellent and we enjoyed the draft beer. However we did wait a long time for our food to arrive. Maybe that was a one-off? We will visit again.
A very authentic Eastern European restaurant. Almost felt like being there. Lovely waitress, wide menu choice, well cooked food, very reasonably priced. Ideally placed for a pre-theatre meal if going to either Curve or the Little. Will definitely go again.
Very nice food, nice atmosphere, all of which helped to make the whole visit a very pleasant experience. For two of us it brought back happy memories of visits to the Czech Republic.
Restaurant is small and very nice. Lovely place with delicious food. It was the first time when we visit, and will definitely come back and recommend to our friends.
Food and atmosphere in this restaurant is absolutely amazing, definitely recommend this place and when I'll get time we will be visiting again. Thanks for lovely time

The food was great food. The atmosphere was friendly and intimate and the staff were very friendly. We will be definitely be going again to this little gem.
Great food, full of flavour, nice and reach. Greathe beer and cocktails. Though could do with little bit of decoration update, other then that perfect.
We visited this restaurant last Saturday to celebrate our birthday - the food was excellent, large portions ( we order czech foods and drinks )
Delicious food, we particularly enjoyed the goulash soup. Main courses were tasty but too big for us to finish - definitely not a place if you're on a diet! As it was early evening on a weekday it was very quiet but that didn't spoil our enjoyment. Prices are reasonable but be aware that it's cash only.
We highly recommend this place as we love slovakian and hungarian food. Its very tasty , nice people. affordable prices. Have visited many times and will definitely return.
Good food and good prices! Nice cosy restaurant in the centre of Leicester. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants to try Slovak food.
Friendly staff. Cafe type atmosphere. Food good except for one meal which was replaced but meant that our party of four didn't eat at the same time. This was reflected in the final bill without asking so full marks for that. Dumplings were extremely light and fluffy. Overall a tasty meal.
