Taste of Gurkha

Pleasant visit. Warm welcome and friendly service. Our drinks and meal arrived in good time. My wife’s goat curry was very tasty and the Peshwari nan was excellent but my Chicken madras (on which I tend to rate an Indian restaurant) was somewhat bland, tasting mostly of tomatoes with a little heat from chilli but missing the deeper flavour of the other spices. We will probably go again to try other dishes from the extensive menu.

We are still here just finishing off the mains... well worth the visit from Birmingham where we know our spicy stuff!..

Lovely, friendly staff and a menu with authentic Nepalese dishes that were different and delicious.
