Lovely Woolworths and service. Great food at a reasonable radon’s Kev price
Consistently excellent food and service. Hope to go again soon.
Great little restaurant short stroll from Tooting tube station !
Nice place, very friendly staff and a decent meal which was good value for money. A little bit on the small side so we ended up with a table right in front of the door which could have been better.
Beautifully cooked food - can’t wait to try more - will definitely be back
Our evening at Tanjia restaurant was again a positive experience! Both Waitress and chef Losine were very attentive and helpful explaining dishes and giving us a warm welcome ! Food is delicious with generous portions! The menu includes Even if we arrived quiet late at the restaurant the staff was still very niece and welcoming. I really appreciate that because I work in the same environment and I know what mean when people show up in the restaurant at the last minute after a long day working! Thank you soo much! For us is the best place in tooting area were you can have such a niece food and and have a breath of the Moroccan culture! By the way my lamb stake was the best 👍🏽
Good food. Good service. Good value. Quite pleased with it.
Delicious food and lovely atmosphere - highly recommend! Love the open front doors for a summer night :)
Great tagine - best ive had for a long time
Right location, friendly staff, good menu and near tube station
Delicious food and great service. We had a terrific time!
This place is just amazing.. I have been few times and it has always been incredible
Everything was great. Food was amazing. Service was really helpful and professional.
The restaurant is beautiful. Lovely atmosphere, the food was incredible and the service was fantastic. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be going again.
I hadn't read the website, which says 'moroccan with a modern twist' ,so was a bit disappointed with my tagine. the meat had been cooked separately from the sauce, there was not much sauce, and the apricots in it were hard,as they had clearly not had the long slow cooking a tagine should have. The food was nice, the atmosphere was pleasant, but don't go if you want to recreate the memories of a Moroccan holiday, you will be disappointed. My friends husband is Moroccan and makes a far better tagine!!
Great food and great service. Glad to have found this place.
Simply a great place and great food!!!! I have been there many times and never been disappointed. Happy environment and a family feeling. I would highly recommend Tangia
Absolutely fantastic! Great service and amazing tasty food. The head chef and owner of the restaurant also came to the table to check everything was good and really enjoyed his presence. A must good if you like maroccoan food and you are in London
The best authentic morrocan food in town. The lamb shank tagine and vegetable was the best I ever had in my life.I didn’t experience such tasty food not even in Marrakech. The owner and chef is always coming to make sure the customers are happy.I will definitely come back soon
The service was great the food was ok i didnt feel it was thhe best. The hummous didnt taste home made the spicy lamb sausage was lively however i was disappointed by the tagine
Tangia was a very pleasant surprise. The owner and all the staff were very attentive making sure that we were well taken care of. The restaurant has a nice intimate feel. The whole menu is great which gives you a bit of a dilemma in a good way. Special mention to the chicken pastille which should be a main course on its own The age range of our party was 21 to mid 80's and everyone enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be coming back with other friends and family.
Brilliant food and a great owner and waiting staff that go above and beyond for customer needs. Highly recommend if you want a good time as well as great food
The serving staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and a good price - highly recommend the lamb shank tagine! Lovely atomosphere too, not too busy
Great food and service. My second visit. Excellent staff. I would recommend this little oasis in Tooting. You won't be disappointed in the food or service.
Lovely local restaurant with a great selection of Moroccan dishes all cooked to perfection. Good vegetarian options too. My favourite place to eat in Tooting.
Good ambience; pleasant staff: food hot and delicious. Had 3 or 4 birthdays there for 12+ people - always a great experience! Would highly recommend!
Lovely food (lamb shank tagine!) and great atmosphere. The only downside was the mint tea was £4 for a tiny pot, which is way too much.
Nice little cosy restaurant, food was excellent and very impressed with owner/chef who always find a time to greet and talk to his guests. Recommend
This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. We had the roast red peppers, baby aubergine, hummus with flat bread to start and then the lamb fillet tagine and I would definitely have eat them again.
The food and wine was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the lamb tagine! Lovely atomosphere with traditional Moroccan interior and friendly staff! Highly recommend a visit!
Visited last night for dinner with my family. Great food. Tagines were tasty. Amazing steak. Good service. Would highly recommend visiting. Will be coming back again.
Great food and friendly service- one of the best places to eat in Tooting. The owner is really welcoming and warm. Terrific tangines. Wide choice to choose from.
Second visit and we will be back again. Great food, lovely setting, attentive staff. The menu is varied too. We could come here every week and not get bored. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food. Really very good. Loved the fact that the chef comes out to talk to his customers. We will definitely be back, and soon.
Always excellent. Great service and interesting menu. The tagine’s Are particularly good, meatballs and egg. Yum! Went with two friends who are veggie and great choices for them too.
This was a our third visit and it has consistently been a lovely evening with good wine, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend the lamb shank.
Food and service excellent. The lamb tangine is superb. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant and the staff are nice. The chef is very professional.
Went here for my birthday meal and could not fault the food, however starters were on the small side considering the price. The only thing that is lacking about this restaurant is the atmosphere as it always seems empty but not sure why as the food is delicious.
Nice food, nice restaurant, nice level of busyness, efficient service, doors open out at front on warm evening which is nice. Well worth giving this a try if unsure of what Morrocan food is like
Delicious food in a lovely and cozy place. The staff was really good and the chef came and talk to us before leaving. Highly recommended.
We would definitely come back! Homemade food and great service
Very friendly and efficient service. Loved the chicken pastilla starter, which was a good size. The chicken and olive tagine was delicious. I don't normally like couscous as I find it rather bland, but the one served here was full of flavour. A great experience!
First time at this restaurant and I would definitely go back. The customer service was great and the chef even came out to welcome us. Food was hot. They even surprised the birthday girl with complementary cake and birthday song. Only issue, the venue was cold.
Excellent evening, warm welcome, excellent food and service, great value. We booked for Valentine evening and had a great experience. Highly recommended to anyone wanting Moroccan food
Really lovely food, and attentive staff. Beautiful interior decoration, too! We really enjoyed having our 3rd anniversary at Tangia :-) Nicely located a short walk from Tooting Broadway.
excellent service, great food and great value. will definitely be back soon. thanks
A great meal! The food is delicious, the staff were friendly and the chef came out to make sure it was ok. I can't recommend it enough.
Went with 5 friends; really buzzy atmosphere; we all enjoyed the food immensely and the staff were extremely attentive. A really good girls night out for less than £26 including wine!
Friendly staff! I had "Tagine of meat balls, topped with a free range poached egg" Excellent food! Definitely a place to go back very soon.
I have been here several times with friends and have always rated it very highly. Yesterday I went with my family and my experience was different. The waitresses that served me were good and no issues there. Every time previously I have gone the owner comes and talks to his customers and you really feel the personal touch that is important in a small restaurant. This time he didn't even though we we're only two tables there. The slow cooked lamb tagine that I ordered was not soft like it has been on previous occasions. Whilst still good food, no ambience or music. I guess I'm more disappointed because I know what a great place it usually is.
