Party of six arriving at 6pm with only one other table seated. Despite this it took nearly 3 hours to complete a standard set menu! Constant requests for a drinks menu, tap water and the actual desserts met with long delays and miscommunication between staff. Only thing that came quick was the bill when asked which shows what the priority was. Similar delays faced by other diners and deliveroo riders- clearly some organisational issues. Real shame as the actual food was tasty.
For the first time , out of our four visits, the experience was very good! There was no chaos, and the staff knew what was going on. Nikhil, who served us, was on the ball…great service, smiling and very good attitude., we left feeling this time that we would like to visit Talli Kitchen, again soon.
The staff were very attentive, patient and pleasant. The biryani was amazing and would definitely go back just for that… and the cocktail!!! However, my starter (chicken chili) I would give 7/10 as I felt the chicken was slightly underdone. Overall a lovely experience 👍🏾
Had a wonderful culinary experience at Talli kitchen. We were the first ones to reach at around 6. Ordered the desi Sangria cocktail, Pina Colada, Prawn starter, samosa and Avocado chaat and Lamb Dum biriyani. Every dish was fresh and yummy. We rounded it off with the dessert, Talli special spoon which was waffle topped with gulab jamun, rabid, carrot halwa. The only complaint is that the portion size of each dish is just enough for one person
