Great German food and beer served in a beautiful river side restaurant with outdoor seating by the Thames. Also excellent service by polite and friendly staff.

Really helpful team. Great atmosphere we had an amazing afternoon and evening. Food was excellent. Highly recommend this as a place to stop by and try.

Great service and food. Lovely atmosphere and drinks. Sharing platters looked great. Portions were generous and very tasty. The curryworst was very good - just enough spice to add a zing but not too much that you couldnt tasye anything else.

Amazing food and amazing service as always. Location is great and being on the river is a bonus and lovely to eat by. We love coming here

Fabulous German food in a great riverside setting in Kingston. Staff are friendly and we have enjoyed many lovely meals here. I would highly recommend.

Pleasant environment, average food quality, Wiener Schnitzel was from a poor section of veal (chewy and hard to eat), white wine served far too warm, no ice bucket available, only cooler which is useless, especially in Summer. Menu well put together, but altogether a poor replica of what truly is a Bavarian cuisine (for those who are familiar with it). Presumably good enough for an average local dining person..oh, and very high prices, far too excessive for the quality of every single item on the bill I have sampled. Shame, it would not take much be truly remarkable.

Lovely staff, authentic food and beer with a great location and view over the river in Kingston. The staff were very attentive and the place is child friendly.

Excellent atmosphere. Attentive staff. Good selection of beers, cocktails and foods. Portions are huge so if dining in, consider sharing a starter and a main. The platters for two (meat & cheese) are perfect for sharing between 2-4.

Great Bavarian restaurant with river terrace. Good food, service and beer! Always a pleasure to be there - we have been going for years and never fails to satisfy.

Fabulous location by the river, staff are very attentive. Word of warning, don’t get a starter and main unless you have skipped lunch. Portions are huge. Tastes fabulous.

It's an awesome location overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and matched up to many, many meals I have eaten in Germany. Highly recommended.

It wasn’t my first time at Steins Kingston and definitely it won’t be the last!!! Hopefully the next time with a bigger group of friends!!!

Great device, choice of food and Steins to boot.In sunny weather there is an excellent view of the river as a bonus. We were a party of 4 and all were more than satisfied.

This is a lovely little place presenting a true taste of Germany -- both in terms of food and the Biergarten environment. We will certainly be back.

Service not great, beer very good (after third attempt to choose one in stock). All pork dishes (1 beef was beef sausages). Nice view of Thames. Depends on what you expect.

Excellent food, with friendly service. We tried the Farmer's Feast and it was huge and delicious. Also the chicken schnitzel, which is my favourite with fried potatoes. Yummy!

Absolutely amazing. Great food, drinks and location :-) We had the sharer platter for 2, the apple strudel for dessert and a boot beer! Very Bavarian!

Lovely food so much of it couldn’t eat it all, good service overall excellent experience think the restaurant could be a little bigger but felt it had a good atmosphere would definitely go back.

Nice place and friendly staff. Sadly the two dishes I chose were not as they were on previous occasions - they lacked flavour and the goulash stew was at best a weak broth with a couple bits of beef.

Very good restaurant but limited vegetarian options. It is possible (even with a primarily meat-based restaurant) to have more than such a limited number of options

Authentic German cuisine with Bavarian decoration and atmosphere. Food was amazing and staff really friendly and understanding. Would definitely come back to this delicate experience!

It is our second visit and it still a Great place with friendly staff and good honest food! Pork knuckle was unbelievably good and worth the price. Other dishes are a bit small in comparison but still really good quality. We surely will come back for more

This was our second visit to Steins a lovely German restaurant . We love the quirky decor. Food was lovely and will definitely revisit ,we sat outside on the deck overlooking the river. Staff were very accommodating making suggestions explaining menu etc Very good value for money.

Really great food, great service, great atmosphere. My dads from Bavaria and he loved it, as did our young kids. For dessert, try the kaiserschmarrn!

Always very tasty food, with friendly and attentive staff in a relaxed setting conducive for a good evening out with friends. The selection of German beers also highly commended.

Very friendly waiters, let me taste the beer before I brought it. Got to drink it out of a boot. Would recommend the fondue and the sharing platter.

This was just a test - but obviously Iike the restaurant!. We always have fun there and enjoy the views , the food and atmosphere!
