Steak & Company - Gloucester Road

Restaurant seemed welcoming and a pleasant ambiance. Unfortunately there was an issue with my steak, which meant that it had to be redone and so my husband and I ate our meals separately (this was an anniversary dinner). The manager was great at sorting the issue out and I couldn't be happier with how he handled it. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said about our waitress. She was difficult to get hold of at times and at one point when we were still waiting on my replacement steak she made a comment about it being a fillet steak so it would be 'ready when it's ready' - not something you want to hear, especially when we had a show to get to! The food was OK, my husbands fillet was surprisingly lower quality than you'd expect, with him having to cut some bits off.

We dined here following my daughter's graduation from the Open University. After a fabulous day we headed for this restaurant, and as soon as we walked in the door we knew we'd made a great choice. The smell of perfect steak permeated the air, and we watched diners cooking their own steak on heated stones. Service was first rate, a happy smiley waiter with a great sense of humour. Perfect balance of prompt service without feeling rushed. Food was outstanding. best steak I've had all year (and I have a brilliant local butcher so that says something). Feeding six of us for under £350 in London was also a pleasant surprise, great value for money. Highly recommended, and we will be dining here again.

Booked a reservation online which was really easy. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but got busier. Ordered coffees first then ordered brunch. It was very nice. The full English was good as was the avocado with poached eggs. Would recommend & we’d go back.

We came to celebrate my wife's birthday. On arrival, we received a very friendly greeting & taken to our table. Our Waiter, Aaron was excellent throughout the evening, ensuring everything was just as we wanted it. In fact, he made our evening, being so knowledgeable & helpful. The food was spot on & reasonably priced. We'll certainly be returning and would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

This is the first time we have eaten at his location due to attending a performance at the Albert Hall. Whenever we come to London we always try to eat at one of your restaurants, and we have never been disappointed. The staff were attentive and friendly. There was a good selection of the menu and our steaks were cooked to perfection.

consistently well cooked and tasty food. pleasant ambience due at least partly to it being well staffed. quite a wait especially if no starter. can get plenty of free water.

Staff were hovering a bit too much were rather eager to take the dishes away, as if they couldn't wait to free up the table. If it was busy, I would understand but this was very early in the day and the place was empty.

To expensive the experience not all that good from the last time we were there.amazing atmosphere just love, steak and co have changed the menu again and no more of the delicious sauce we had

We booked for 7pm and table was ready when we arrived. Place was buzzing. Great concept with hot stone for cooking your own steak. Prices typical for London and reasonable for good steaks.

We booked for Christmas Eve and enjoyed the experience very much. The food was good and the staff were friendly and in good spirits. There was a festive vibe and we appreciated having a nice meal on our Christmas vacation. We are picky about our steaks, but found them to be delicious.
