Steak & Company - Gloucester Road

I would like to say the steak mushrooms sauce and thin cut fries with sea salt and slowly you cook your self on a hot stone plate, at your own space of time

The management and the atmosphere is superb, food delicious finger licking good. Highly recommended also for family get to together or outing

We visited Steak & Co on Gloucester Road for my husband’s birthday whilst on a day out in London at 4pm on a Friday in school holidays. We have a 3yo with multiple food allergies so I had checked the menu before booking and had noted this when I made the booking online. On being seated and given menus, the friendly Host asked about her allergies and gave us all the allergy info and said he’d look after her. This info had clearly been shared with all staff as we didn’t have to repeat it at all and every waiter we had was conscious of it, reassured and checked things with us. Other than this the general service was excellent, the food was tasty and my husband said his steak was one of the best he’s had in a long time. Yes this is a pricier restaurant than others but it was worth it for a special occasion. We had an enjoyable visit and I couldn’t fault the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff with us and my daughter. thank you for making our dining experience so enjoyable, I would highly recommend.

We had halal steaks which were delicious eventhough they were not served on the hot stones like they were supposed to (as their halal menu described). But we didn’t complain because the restaurant was very busy and very noisy. Obviously a very popular place

The music don't need to be so loud. As it is off putting if u come in for a meal and a chat as you can't hear yourself think.

Absolutely loved the food, the Miso chicken is definitely one of the tastiest chicken dishes I've ever tried and the truffle mash was just to perfection. No need to say the steaks were just on point. Great service and cocktails too.

From the hostess to the waiter to the manager the service was outstanding. We had NY Strip steaks and they were cooked perfectly and tender. The side salad and Mac and cheese were delicious as was dessert. When we are back in London we will definitely be back!!!

We have been to the chain restaurants several times and the first time at this branch. We were happy to discover that this branch is not shrouded in smoke and considering that you are close to our favorite hotel in London, we hope to return for dinners in the future.

Restaurant seemed welcoming and a pleasant ambiance. Unfortunately there was an issue with my steak, which meant that it had to be redone and so my husband and I ate our meals separately (this was an anniversary dinner). The manager was great at sorting the issue out and I couldn't be happier with how he handled it. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said about our waitress. She was difficult to get hold of at times and at one point when we were still waiting on my replacement steak she made a comment about it being a fillet steak so it would be 'ready when it's ready' - not something you want to hear, especially when we had a show to get to! The food was OK, my husbands fillet was surprisingly lower quality than you'd expect, with him having to cut some bits off.
