Spinach is a lovely cosy place in east Dulwich, the service is very good if not a little over enthusiastic but I wouldn't complain about that and the food is excellent, cooked to perfection and simple. I had one the best chocolate pot I ever had too, a brilliant end to a lovely evening.
Great meal, the menu was quite varied, but everything was delicious, the drinks were fantastic and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.
Lovely local restaurant with yummy food. We were sat in the upstairs section, which would also make a nice area for a private function. Will go back again soon.
Nice setting and atmosphere. The food was really good although it was quite expensive for what you got which brought my rating down. The starters could have been served in a bit nicer way.
Fabulous food. Very different in a really good way. The service was really good and very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant. I have dropped a point because the decor is quite stark. Speak to some local artists and get some art in the walls, that would finish the experience off nicely.
What a welcome addition to the local food scene. Charming staff and unusual, predominantly vegetarian food. The choices are so imaginative that this meat-eater happily went veggie. Bravo!
Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere! Really enjoyed it...looking forward to going back! Keep up the great work! Will be back for the cod fritters
First visit to Spinach. Good food and friendly service. I had the lamb and cranberry meatballs with couscous which was very tasty. Would definitely return for a second visit.
Great food and it has a nice atmosphere. Service could be improved. Starter arrived before water and bread. A bit pricey but a decent date venue. Avocado fritters, glazed aubergines and gin cucumber cocktails were highlights.
Good food, excellent service - haven't quite got the ambience right as kitchen doors open so who ever facing the back was blinded by the lights
Great food, excellent wine and very friendly and attentive staff! Lovely decor, has a warm and relaxed feel. Choc pot pud is delightful and worth the visit in its own right! :-)
Pared back, stylish interior. Varied menu including vegan options and reasonably priced wine. Service was attentive without rushing us and food was beautifully cooked. Great.
Thoroughly enjoyed the main course of tuna was very tasty and tender. Service was good too - the waitress advised us to order prior to the part of 11 orders being taken!
Lovely fresh tasting food in a great setting with very attentive staff. Was exactly what I was looking for during a healthy Jan. Would recommend.
Excellent food. Lots of choice for those who are vegetarian. Wine list is a little pricy - need more options under £30. Great restaurant - highly recommended.
Lovely restaurant. Food was delicious (all tasted very fresh), really friendly service, décor and atmosphere is really nice. Vaguely Moroccan theme. Will definitely be returning!
The restaurant has a great atmosphere! It's bright and spacious and even when nearly full it didn't seem to get noisy like a lot of restaurants. Everything we ate (deep fried goats cheese with romesco & lettuce, gobi manchurian, lamb meatballs, seared tuna) was absolutely delicious so will definitely return for another meal sometime. The cocktails all sounded great but we were a bit disappointed with how they actually tasted so will stick to the wide selection of wine next time. A bit pricey but worth it for the food.
Food was fantastic, some of the best in London (I've lived here for over 15 years). Really good for vegetarians. Service was superb and friendly.
Great food with a really interesting menu. Lots of veg dishes but stuff for the meat eaters too plus a lovely atmosphere and just a beautiful space to enjoy a meal.
Lovely little plates, great asparagus with Stilton sauce. Relaxed laid back atmosphere, good wine and attentive staff. Could have been more veggie options on the main menu, as the only one had mushrooms which lots of people don't love, including me.
Really enjoyable meal. Lots of great dishes, particularly amongst the small plates. All served very promptly as we requested since we were heading across the road to the Dulwich Picturehouse afterwards. Highly recommended
I thought the service was really poor - as was the food. The starters are OK, but the main courses leave a lot to be desired. To top it all, the table wobbled from side to side throughout! We won't be coming back - they need to try a lot harder if they hope to justify those menu prices
Food was excellent and staff friendly. However the service was fairly slow and paying separately in a large group seemed to create a lot of problems.
really lovely flavours, nice service, calm and uncluttered interior. We rate it very highly. We will be back, as its a refreshing change to find an individual restaurant that has such good food and original tastes.
