Great service, amazing food, loved experience. Thank you so much.
Excellent food and nice friendly, helpful people. Would certainly visit again.
Food is excellent but the service was a bit indifferent.
It’s not their fault if after few drinks other customers lose any awareness of other people around them, but it got noisy with the time - my friend and I struggled at hearing each other.
Great restaurant, service and amazing food! Would 100% recommend to all!
Food was good. A bit pricey for the setting, but acceptable. Service not that great. All our food (small and big plates) arrived together - no one had asked if we wanted it like that (we wanted starters and then mains!). Also no one offered us the dessert menu or if we wanted any more drinks.
The Food was great. Service was a little impersonal but the place is really nice and everyone enjoyed the meal. I Would go again definitely.
Very good evening. Nice ambience, relaxed vibe and tables aren't on top of each other! Food was great, menu varied and service good. Highly Recommend
Had a wonderful time at Spinach tonight! We’d been excited by the menu, but the food was even more delicious than we had anticipated. As we came on a Wednesday, we took advantage of the “3 for 2” offer on small plates and ended up trying most of them! The cauliflower and the lamb were our two favourite - absolute heaven! Highest compliments to the chef! Very excited to come back and try the large plates (probably next week!). The tuna, the lamb meatballs and the cod all look and sound absolutely incredible. Oh and I forgot to mention how welcoming and smiley the staff were; thank you so much guys for a lovely evening! All in all, a completely delightful place, we’ll be back regularly!
The good: Good location, nice menu, friendly staff, quick service & relaxed atmosphere. The bad: The tables were squeezed together so was awkward trying to sit down, the tuna steaks & plates were cold, the rice was crunchy & we were left to serve our own wine. Table was sticky & felt like it needed a good wipe down. The ugly: the bill - meal felt over priced for what we reveived.
The food is always very good, friendly staff and great service. I like also that they do not pack the tables in so you feel like you have a bit of space and a private conversation.
Really lovely veggie options as well as delicious cod !! Would definitely return to this place. Would definitely return to this place. Would definitely return to this place
Lovely food for their sharing Christmas meal. Staff could be a little more polite / enthusiastic. Would recommend for somewhere different on lordship lane if you don’t go anywayb
Amazing food. Took full advantage of the 3 for 2 on the small plates offer (tuesday and wednesday deal). Everything was super delicious! Especially the sweetcorn fritter balls
A friendly and relaxing dining experience with wonderful food and a decent drinks list. Love it! Very veggie friendly but meat and fish dishes too.
Excellent food for vegetarians and those seeking something different yet excellent! . Colourful plates of wonderful ness, tasty, eye catching. A couple of meat centred dishes bit a wide selection of vegetarian treats
Good fresh, appetising salads. Bright , friendly restaurant space. Staff attentive but didn’t intrude or hurry you along. Prices reasonable and I would certainly recommend and rebook
The food is divine here with a lovely local service! Been here a few times now and would definitely recommend it! And please try the GobiManchurian!
Great food, friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended for vegetarians and omnivores and especially good for people who don't have large appetites but enjoy tasty, varied dishes. Perfect for post t-cimema supper
Lovely atmosphere, fresh and fantastically cooked food, kind and friendly staff. This is my favourite place in East Dulwich! I strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for healthy and flavoursome food.
Love it here and latest visit was as good as always. Delicious food, great service by lovely staff, wine suggestion was spot on, relaxed and buzzy. Can’t wait to visit again.
Friendly service and food came really quickly. We had the sourdough and olives to start. The bread was so fresh. And for mains I had the vegan cauliflower korma-delicious and my other half had the prawns with homemade chips which he thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic value house white was also very much enjoyed
Great seasonal and simple veggie dishes are the focus with a few meat/fish options. Delicious vegan options available! Relaxed, light space and friendly staff all add to a great experience. Highly recommend it.
the location is lovely and service was very friendly, however we were left slightly disappointed with the food- the cauliflower korma arrived only semi-hot which is an obvious indication it’s just been reheated, and flavour could definitely be improved. The pomegranate seeds were a strange addition to the plate. Overall I thought the food was slightly overpriced for what it was, but im interested to try the brunch menu
Great choice for vegetarians and omnivores alike and delicious cocktails.
Excellent dishes, great service and overall a good experience. Will be definitely be back. Would recommend the chicken thigh, lamb and cauliflower. All very fresh.
Very friendly and comfortable place for dinner. Great food, atmosphere and staff, ticks all the boxes. Not too expensive either so will definitely come back
Realy lovely food, great service. We shared six of the small plates between two of us and really enjoyed them all, will definitely go again
First time I’ve been to Spinach ... I’m defiantly coming back as are my friends!!! Loved loved loved the food. The atmosphere was fabulous and the service perfect 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lovely, clean restaurant with a great vibe! Staff were extremely polite and helpful! Would definitely go again but would order the avocado on toast next time
Excellent food and lovely eating on the pavement in the sun. Good menu with variety and lots of options for vegetarians. Interesting range of cocktails too.
I simply love this place. It’s one of the few places where you can find healthy home made food with good choice and as yummy as anything else. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is my favourite restaurant and cafe in the area.
The food was absolutely lovely and the drinks were good. Felt a bit rushed to get out though and it wasn't even that late. We left by 10pm as we felt like the staff were eager to go home.
Great small plates (we had one of each) and decent house white. Desserts (crumble and chocolate pud) were less impressive but still tasty. Worth a return visit.
Fantastic food, prompt and friendly service, good value. Lovely decor and ambience. Fast becoming a favourite! Cocktails are great, too. Visited in summer and snow and it's been just right each time.
One of the best vegetarian burgers I've ever had, can't wait to have another. Staff very attentive, all the food served looked great, I was with a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Lovely place to enjoy lovely food!
Was keen to leave, didn’t stay for dinner. More staff than customers and of the four customers one was a child which in an empty restaurant was our queue to leave
Lovely food, friendly staff and a good choice of music quietly on in the background. Overall we had a lovely evening and would definitely go back!
The food was delicious. I had the Tuna which was really amazing. The staff are also really nice and friendly. Cant wait to go back.
Delicious food and great, cheerful service. I loved the tempura cauliflower and the steak. My non-veggie brother loved his Cauliflower Korma and chocolate brownie. Definitely coming back.
Lovely and relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous and varied food presented well and happy service. We love the curried cauliflower! The seared tuna was really well presented. Will be back!
Friendly staff. Quick service. Delicious food with good vegan options. Great cocktails. Would definitely go again, it has a nice ambience. Word word word word.
The food is good, very tasty but quite expensive for the portion size. The other issue is that the menu doesn't change and they don't offer any specials. If you are vegetarian the choice is limited so we don't visit regularly.
Great service, excellent food choice, unusual wines. The USP of this friendly neighbourhood restaurant is its balance of vegetarian and meat/fish dishes. There are lots of veggie choices that will tempt even the confirmed carnivore, such as this reviewer...
Delicious fresh food and lots of choice Charming helpful staff Good both for lunch and evening and plenty of choice for GF or non meat eaters
Delicious food, the menu is varied and interesting, we enjoyed sharing a mix of small plates. The service is friendly and helpful. Spinach is conveniently placed just opposite the Picture House.
Lovely place for lunch but for the evening meal it was very disappointing. The main disappointment is the food and would not return for an evening meal although may do so for lunch. Food well presented but the vegan options very poorly cooked. The desserts were frankly appalling; strangely artificial and stale tasting. Service was overall reasonably good.
We went for the sharing plates, which were all delicious. I particularly liked the haloumi chips. The orange cheesecake finished off a delicious meal. The cocktails were amazing too.
The food was okay. I felt as though I could have made it myself. Service was excellent and made up for slight blandness in food.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere, all beautifully presented. A lovely little local surprise on Lordship Lane. The Halloumi chips were absolutely delicious. We will be back.
