Pre theatre meal for ballet at new theatre. We've been to Sorrento before - the food is good, the prices reasonable, its close to the theatre and it means we can have a proper meal and still get to the theatre in plenty of time. The staff are always friendly and nice. Its becoming our pre theatre restaurant of choice.

Very good but a bit noisy because there were 4 large parties in but it didn’t spoil our visit.

Great food, fantastic service and lovely lively atmosphere especially with the new decor. I would give it a 6 but I always find their wines a bit disappointing. Well worth trying, need to book for popular times.

All good, with favourite Italian dishes well cooked. Music a little loud. A pity that the menu does’t change more, despite use of blackboard suggesting otherwise. But they have a formula that works, and it is reliable.

First visit for a family reunion. Could not be better !! Service, ambience, and especially the food was first rate ! Don't understand why we waited so long before visiting, we will certainly return soon.

Everything to do with the meal was good. A bit annoying that the locks to both the ladies toilets were broken therefore could not be locked.

Despite the restaurant being very busy on Valentines night and we had booked in as a large party fairly late in the evening we received the usual warm welcome and attentive service.

The service was good, menu choice was varied. My husband ordered a fillet steak, which had gristle through it, this was very disappointing. We had been previously and all had good food.

The food was great and there was a large number of varied dishes on the menu , service was good and the prices reasonable . The only niggle was it was quite cold in there , the only heating appeared to be above the entrance but we will visit again but maybe not in the winter.

A wonderful meal cooked to perfection and served with a typically Italian friendly and courteous way. It was our first visit since Sorrento was refurbished and the revised layout and stylish decor enhanced the experience still further. The final icing on the cake was listening to Andrea Boccelli on the sound system. Our sole reason in coming to Stroud from our home in Melksham was to eat at Sorrento on my wife's birthday as we both love it so much.

The restaurant has recently been refurbished, and is now brighter and smarter and can accommodate more customers. The food is good quality and good value for money, with friendly service.

A lively and family friendly restaurant. We were shown to our table quickly and efficiently. Despite being busy, the food arrived quickly and service was excellent.
