Sicily Restaurant

I’ve been going there for many years on and off. But somehow their food is no longer as good as it used to be. My pork belly was just dry and awful. Good and friendly service though.

As usual, great food and location. It would be great though if they re-introduced their lunch menu again (which got abolished during covid); especially because there are still advertisements for it outside. It feels it’s their way of saying “you could have had a reasonably priced lunch menu but have now have to have an expensive á la carte one.”

We did have a great lunch at Sicily restaurant. Excellent food was served. The service was very good.

Lovely welcome on arrival and given a good table upstairs. Service was swift and food amazing as always! Look forward to returning soon 😊

First time ever that I’m not that enthusiastic about that place. The starter, the calamari, were just awful. The main was good though, but the pasta was anything but al dente. But it’s usually a good place. I miss their lunch menu. That was always such a winner.

I’m so very glad they have come out from lockdown and are still as good as they used to be beforehand. I ordered tagliatelle which tasted very good. Pasta was al dente, exactly as I like it. The only thing, I missed their lunch menu. It would be good to get those back.

Fantastic experience at Sicily as always. The food, service and atmosphere was fabulous. All coronavirus precautions are taken. The only slight criticism would be the minimal portion of vegetables that came with the main dish. However, on request, we were provided with additional vegetables on the house. Great service - thank you.

After 18 months it was good to go back to one of our favourite restaurants. The food was so tasty and well presented and the staff were very attentive. Looking forward to our next visit. Good value for money,

I booked for two but my guest cancelled. The restaurant was able to fit me in earlier so that I did not have to wait around. Waitress was absolutely charming and very attentive. Food was very good and extremely good value at £15.95 for two courses. Will definitely make a return booking here.

The pasta was slightly overcooked....the food was made for and English palate.

Covid has enforced some changes and so the restaurant does not feel as bustling and lively as before, but the staff are friendly, the food is really good and the prices reasonable - so it was a very enjoyable evening!

Used to love this restaurant but has really gone down hill. I had the best pizza ever on my first visit but sadly the one today was awful and had to send it back. Very disappointed

Disappointing! Having been to Sicily many times before and always enjoyed, went along with friends hoping to enjoy the food and music, unfortunately the menu had changed and many old favourites been removed, my main pasta dish wasn't very nice and was very salty. 1st Friday in the month is meant to be live music but that apparently doesn't start again until April, did not see this advertised anywhere and there was just a quartet playing. On a positive note staff were very pleasant as usual.

Was ok, food generally nice except for garlic prawns didnt taste so fresh, nice staff, cozy setting, noce beer. Prefer here than TOZI which is just around the corner
