Excellent location for theatre. Very friendly and swift service. Really enjoyed the meal. Good value for money. Only issue was that we were told coffee would take 15 minutes to serve at the end of the meal. We didn't wait as we needed to go to the theatre.

Table waiting for excellent food waiters tend to hover around and gave impression that they were wanting us to hurry our meal as there were people waiting to be seated.otherwise a very pleasant experienc.

The food was nice. Portions were small and meat content in particular was meager. Given the price didn’t reflect that, we felt cheated on either price or the amount served. Sides and the pickle tray were way too expensive again. This is a bit of a con, because in my experience these are often either free of charge or cheap but here, they’re offered as soon as you sit down, before a menu is presented. Biggest problem with our side of aloo saag was it arrived after we’d finished our mains! Service was friendly though and the guys all smiled and tried to help. We felt very rushed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, even with being offered more time to decide on our order. There was obviously an urgency to turn the table around which, even on a Friday night seemed inappropriate amd off putting. We also had 5 different people serving us and so didn’t build even a modicum of rapport. That may have helped the overall exlerience because, individually, the staff were nice enough. In summary; Tasty food. Expensive drinks. Not great value for money. Rushed but friendly service. Won’t hurry back but I wouldn’t avoid completely if someone else chooses it for us in the future.

Attentive service. Huge naan. Top quality pickle tray. Great curry. Waiters were very nice and friendly. We were told that we couldn’t have the pickle tray as they’d run out but the chef went out of his way to make fresh for us.

Food was great. Waiters very attentive. Venue pleasing. The only 'negative' is that we found it a bit stressful to have so many waiters keeping an eye on our every move. I think we had 5 different waiters from beginning to end.

Was asked three times after being seated what was our order when were we going to order without being given menus, the waiter suggested we take a side dish which never came, nearly three hours for a two course meal, bad experience only the food saved this review from being lower.

We had a pleasant evening at Shezan, we booked before going to see a show at the Playhouse. The food itself was amazing and excellent value for money. However it was extremely busy (given the fact a show was on). The door was open for large periods of time while people queued and this made the restaurant very cold. It was also extremely noisy. We don't mind waiting to get our food as we know it's being cooked! However the table next to us waiting an extremely long time.

Appalling service, extremely rude waiter, errors with our order, waited 1 hour 20 minutes for our food. Won't return, which is such a shame as the food is nice but with such awful service and an appalling attitude from the waiter it doesn't matter how good the food is when we left feeling angry at the way we have been spoken to and no apology.

Food was excellent but the service was very intrusive we were asked on at least twenty occasions if the food was all right or if we needed more drinks.Consequently we would not return even though the food was authentic and very tasty
