Excellent food and great service. Really good restaurant. I’m a local and love this place.
Fast and friendly service even though it was really busy due to the Edinburgh festival. Food was fantastic as usual.
Beautiful food . Feast for the eye too . Careful attention to detail and friendly attentive service . Lovely evening amd a good memory .
We have been going to Shezan for years, and it remains our favourite go to Asian restaurant in Edinburgh. Always welcoming, great food and service. Shahid and Raz make it special. Thanks Guys
Interesting menu and food excellently prepared and presented. To be recommended!

First time there it was very tasty and just delicious NAN breads were amazing.

Food and service was great as always. By far the best Indian restaurant in Edinburgh
Excellent food and flavours Service was great very friendly staff throughout
Went for a pre-theatre, good value and food and service were great
Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Essen war super lecker
Food was amazing and service very friendly. This was our fourth visit and will definitely be back.
Great location, and as always and most importantly, tasty food.
Excellent food with lots of choice, will definitely go back.
Excellent curries, among the best I’ve had outside SE Asia & India
LOVELY MEAL WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE. VALUE FOR MONEY VERY GOOD
Excellent food very nicely presented. We had an early booking (17:30) so there was plenty of space in the restaurant. It would have been better if the next couple to arrive had been seated some distance from us. Instead they were seated right next to us. The tables are rather too close together.
Average would sum it up. Starter was over cooked as if it had been cooked and warmed up.
Great food, didn’t have to wait too long between courses, would recommend to friends
The food was good, but not spectacular, as we were led to believe by the hype and the award. The Tikka Masala was creamy, but with indistinguishable taste, the Chasni uninterestingly sweet. The Karahi and Korma were definitely the best offerings, but not the best you will ever have. It also took a much longer time to deliver food for the youngest in our company, whereas they should normally be the first to receive it.
The food was good but let down by the service. We had four different waiters during the meal for a table of 3 people and that led to poor service due to a lack of continuity.
Our table was ready but very little room between tables, waiter rushing around, running at one point trying to get ready for large party arriving. Around 30 people descended at the side of us and then a group of young people taking selfies and shrieking what we imagined to be a nice romantic evening ended in is just wanting to leave due to the noise volume and also volume of customers and staff passing our table. The starter was delicious but the main lacked flavour and the sauce was watery. Obviously people are out enjoying themselves but large parties would be better in one part of the restaurant instead of the middle and taking over the whole place work noise so that other diners cannot even converse.
Great quality food, really tasty, not greasy, possibly the best naan we've ever had. Restaurant was very very busy so it was possibly a little rushed but it was a Saturday night. Would definitely recommend to curry lovers
Amazing service very attentive and friendly staff. The food is amazing
Very tasty food and pleasant service. Very convenient restaurant if you are visiting the local theatre
Lovely food! The restaurant is right across the road from the Edinburgh Playhouse so perfect for a dinner before going for your show. The service was very attentive and the food was spectacular. Will definitely be back!
Food was lovely and the service was great. Felt like the waiters were a bit too keen for us to order quickly at the start but otherwise a great meal
The meal was very good everything was cooked well and the service was excellent.. We especially liked the bottle of sauvigon blanc we had...
Received a warm welcome and very good service. Food was fantastic and well priced. Will definitely be back
Worst experience ever by a extremely rude waiter. We had a confirmed reservation but the waiter told us you had a time lag om reservations so we had to wait like 40 minutes. When i replayed that this was really bad service he became really angry and followed us shouting as we left. I had my wife and to girls with me so this was a very unpleasant experience indeed.
Been here many times to sit in and for takeaways - superb on all fronts - my favourite Indian restaurant in Edinburgh - easy to see why they have won so many awards
We had a nice evening! Very good food and nice service.
Wee love the food here and the staff are very welcoming and efficient. Quick service
Felt really rushed to place our order as soon as we arrived and the food itself was okay, not worth the £71 that was charged for it. Bit of a rip off that they charge for poppadoms as well, because they ask if you woulr like them as if they’re on the house and then they slap it on the bill.
Excellent food and service as always. Always happy to recommend
Ordinary. Was expecting big things from wat was described as one of Edinburgh's leading Curry houses. Only one dish out of 6 was tasty. How can any Indian restaurant serve HP Sauce with poppadoms?
Excellent food and service, very cold Kingfisher on tap. Convenient to the Courtyard Marriott....across the street....so glad I stopped by for dinner.
Very nice food and friendly staff would go again. Thanks.
good experience overall, good food! the atmosphere was also nice
Again fantastic food, still my favourite “curry” restaurant in Edinburgh.
