fantastic food and great service. our steaks were cooked perfectly.

Starter would of been amazing if the beef wasn't so chewy Waited roughly 30mins for our main course to come which wasn't that great at all was far to salty (beef stew) and seen someone else sending their food back for being cold Waitress's were plesent and seemed rushed of their feet, however they didn't ask how the meal was so didn't really get the chance to say any of this at the time Wouldn't recommend or go back

Best steak I've ever had and the peppermint torte is to die for! I don't think I'll be having a lion steak next time as in absolutely stuffed but will definitely be back.

Wonderful restuarant. Great food, good ambience, fantastic staff. A meat-lover's paradise! Have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The steak is cooked to perfection, the prawns are plump and juicy, and the burgers...well they're something else. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant. Delicious food, one of the best steaks I have had Friendly & helpful staff, who very kindly ordered a taxi for us which arrived immediately. Would highly recommend.

Food and service both outstanding! Can't wait to get back to try more of the menu. The steak was to die for, cooked perfectly. Didn't fit in dessert unfortunately but will save room for next time.

Lovely staff and fabulous food, can't rate everything highly enough. The starters were amazing, the peach chutney was so good I've hunted it down and ordered some for home!!

The steaks were delicious, cheeta was plenty big enough! The staff and service they provided was super! Great atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic, great steak and the staff were excellent and very professional. I changed my reservation from Monday to Tuesday by voicemail and they called me back to confirm. I would recommend anyone to try the t-bone! But don't order a starter and when you see it you will know exactly what I mean :)

I went to Shebeen for lunch on a Saturday as a solo diner and had a great experience. I ordered the Boerewors Roll, which was very good, but I would definitely recommend getting a burger - they looked amazing! Overall, the restaurant had a great environment with fun decor and music, and I enjoyed it a lot.

Shebeen never fails to delight. I love this place. Friendly staff, amazing steaks. We always enjoy going. Even the mushrooms and salad that comes with it are great too.

The service was incredible and the food was to die for. Drove over an hour to get there but it was well worth it and would do it again in a heart beat! Absolutely loved it.

Massive amounts of meat! Portions are double what you would expect to see on a plate! Great wines. Really friendly servers who help you understand all their unique dishes. 😊

Massive portions but tasty food. Friendly service. We ordered steak - the larger portion was huge. Also lamb chops with pap and red onion sauce. Delicious.

My 'go to' steak house ! The Lion Rib Eye will satisfy the mightiest of hungers. Great relaxed atmosphere too. Good value for money too, given the meat cut !

Really great food - a meat eaters paradise - delicious juicy steaks and great desserts. Quite a 'Rustic' feel to the restaurant, capturing the South African feel, and really friendly staff

Portion of food was incredibly big. Good to feed big-eaters. Meat quality varies, some delicious and some dry. Taste on the saltier side. We did have a good time nonetheless!
