Over priced and underwhelming. Friendly and polite staff but should expect nothing less. My wife’s stake was cheep meat with hight price tag, funnily enough just like Heavens Kitchen whom we discovered afterwards also run Sirena. If you’re going to produce a fish stew containing Prawns de-shell the Prawns before serving.

The food was really nice. However, there was a mixup with our table and it got given to another couple. To wait over an hour for your main course is not acceptable. The evening was fun, but three hours for a three course meal to be served put a bit of a dampener on a Valentines evening. The staff were very friendly and did their best to keep everybody happy.

The restaurant was in complete chaos. Our table was booked for 8.00, at 9.00 there was still no indication if/when we would ever get a table so we left and ate somewhere else. Several customers were complaining about late food/tables and a number of people were getting up and leaving.

Sadly really awful. We left before our main course. Our table was booked for 8pm, we arrived just before. We stood cramped in the bar area with musicians to our left, and a woman with a young baby (2weeks old), standing and queuing (for the same amount of time!) infront of us. After 35mintues we were finally approached and informed there was a wait time due to table space. (Since then we have come to understand that the restaurant had NOT give time restrictions on the table, and because of this customers continued their evening, not giving up their table) After waiting for our table we sat down, and after a bit of time had to request a drinks menu. After finally ordering a drink, we order our mains, unfortunately at this point the mussels which we wanted to have for starters was unavailable. The starter that I order arrived around 9:15, but to our disappointment my partners starters did not arrive. I had finished mine before we even managed to get a member of staffs attention. During this ordeal a number of tables around us had sent food back, refused to pay the whole bill, or got quite upset with the service. Whilst starving, we made the decision to ask for the bill and leave, rather than waiting for further disappointment. Sadly it ruined our evening and we stopped off at a service station to get food because of how hungry we were. We won’t be going back.

Double booked tables. Had to wait ages for food and drinks, then for the table to be cleared. People were leaving before eating because of the time it was taking. Food was cold and unseasoned.

Limited rather uninspiring menu. Octopus was tough, and served with roast potatoes and "salad"? I had my doubts and was prepared to give it a go but was disappointed. However, the cheesecake for dessert was terrific. Very helpful staff, but the food needs some inspiration.

Booked a table believing it was for the advertised DJ & drinks, taken upstairs for food, removed from table when I told them we were drinks only. Crazy busy with little staff, waiting for drinks and poor management of bill and how we were expected to pay

Great food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. When the staff saw a bottle of champagne being given as present, they asked what we were celebrating and brought us all a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

Just a lovely bar, we had a great time & enjoyed the food & drinks.

We sat upstairs so we could hear our conversation and enjoy the food. The food was amazing however, there was a group of 4 young ladies who were clearly enjoying there evening out, which is absolutely fine but they were extremely loud and shouting their conversation to each other across their table and nobody else could hear anything else. This was extremely distracting. This resulted in myself and my partner not being able to speak to eachother during our dinner. We relocated downstairs to where there was live music after the meal, and this was actually quieter.

The Gluten Free pasta was completely undercooked, meaning it was very dry & chewy, quite unpleasant. On the other hand, the squid rings in the same GF dish were extremely overcooked and rubbery (a real shame because the calamari starter was perfection). The GF main was eaten to save waiting for it to be resolved with such a large group of people. Looking back at the receipt today, we have also been charged for a double rum & coke when a single was ordered. Otherwise, I can't the fault the service from our waiter and despite the 1 error with the GF dish & bill, everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

A cold, cold night and a tough one for restaurants ! We had a lovely night here and met some familiar faces that had served us well at other restaurants in the local area. Lovely food throughout, Mussels to start and then steak and seafood risotto for mains. Great food with wine to match. Perfect evening

Gorgeous bouillabaisse, full of prawns, mussels, squid and salmon. Such a shame the restaurant was so quiet. We were the only customers in there. I did feel for the staff who’d given up their Boxing Day. Music playlist was good!

A lovely restaurant with well prepared delicious food and a good variety of choice which, catered for my vegetarian wife. Service was very cheerful and prompt. A thoroughly enjoyable experience which means we will be returning.

We've been to Serinas three time now and we had loved every single time! The service is incredible and the staff are always lovely. The carbonara is definitely one to go for!

We weren’t aware that the festive menu needed to be booked in advance. The carbonara suggested it was traditionally made but pretty sure it was made with cream.

Great place for lunch with a lot of variety on the menu. All 3 of us really enjoyed our meals. It was our first time at Serena’s, but we will definitely be coming back

Very friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Service was brilliant, lovely food but downside being small portions for the starters considering the price. Can’t fault the mains, lovely seafood risotto. Will be back for tapas soon!
