Saphari restaurant

Our family really likes saphari restaurant the only downside is the prices of children. Even thought it’s less then adult prices but still quite expensive for a child as they don’t eat as much otherwise very happy with everything else.

Had a lovely meal. There was so much choice of food and every dish was piping hot. when containers ran low they were soon refilled. Service was good too and always greeted with a smile.

Disappointed to be honest. Baby chairs that were requested wasn't at the table. Wasn't worth the price, expected at least a bottle of complimentary wine on the table. Was told to queue for drinks order's, I asked for someone to take our orders at the table. While eating, we were asked to pay! Definitely was not impressed by that, so our food is in our hands trying to sit down, while others are dealing with the babies and we are told payment is wanted now. We didn't find it had a very Christmasy atmosphere. Plus no stuffing balls! One of us were told the stuffing was in the pork, 4 of the group didn't eat pork! But love's stuffing. Safari is one of our favourite restaurants, but was so let down on Christmas day.

An excellent meal and service once again this Christmas. All the staff have worked extremely hard to make our day so a massive thank you to them all.

When we first arrived the choice of food was limited due to the fact that a lot had been left to dry out and go hard. Once the trays had been changed the food was excellent. Didn’t seem to be as many staff to keep the food stations replenished

The bowl of chocolate in place of the fountain is a let down for kids not having small dipping bowls at the station made it even harder for kids and you would think with that many Indian dishes there would be an least plain Naans food was great but it’s the little details that make a big difference

Overall lovely experience. My 12 other friends and my self enjoyed the varied variety of food on offer. Brilliant choices for all young and old. Clean and organised. Nice staff. All helpful.

Had to leave table and find a member of staff to order drinks and although there was a wide choice of dishes available from the buffet, most of it was kept just warm instead of being hot food. By the time you got back to your table the food was stone cold before you got half way through it. Suggest they heat the plates and turn up the temperature on the buffet food dishes.

Main food was very nice but desserts were horrible. Cake was very dry and what appeared to be cream on certain items was definitely not cream!

My family and myself was there for my daughter's 18th birthday and yes we was having a good time until one of the waiter's came to us at 18.50 telling us we had to leave the table as we'd gone over our 1 hour 45 minutes my table was booked for 17.15 we arrived at 17.17 so how was we over our time. The food was so delicious! They have so much variety to choose from and the best dessert options. It was my first time there but I’m 100% satisfied! I will be going back.

Smaller choice than normal desserts no real choice .no lamb anymore

A whole range of delicious foods and the whole restaurant is clean and tidy with friendly staff, Great dishes, Great choices only one comment need more Gluten Free desserts such as Gluten Free crumbles or cakes. Which is not really hard to make really.

very easy to reserve a table. food was good, not great as some were cold or had been there for a while, but generally tasted nice. however there were young children running around everywhere the whole time which was off putting as you were having to dodge them carrying food. not one of the better visits but usually the atmosphere isn’t like this and the food is really nice.

We had a good time but the staff are quite hostile. Man with earplugs up front was welcoming though, but the steaks were ridiculous. Cook asked if we wanted medium, we said medium rare and got back burnt well done🤣 the dessert section seriously lacked but seeing gulab was a win for me snd the profiteroles are amazing.. there's quite a selection and the curries were really good! The chicken was lovely and soft however on the other side the lasagne was more meat and pasta sheet than sauce, it gave me a good laugh tbf. Was a good time

Only half the food choices were available, maybe due to it being lunchtime but this was not explained to us before reserving a table. Server didn't ask "Have you dined with us before?" or explained where things were located when we sat down. We had to work it out for ourselves. Little touches like that make a difference. Although food looked nice, it was bland in flavour. Chips were barely warm even though serving spoon boiling hot. The ribs and tandoori chicken tasted nice but they were the only 2 items from what I tried that I fully enjoyed. Summary: Disappointed and underwhelmed. Style over substance. Would not recommend to others as we felt it wasn't value for money.
