Good food helpful and friendly staff who are doing a great job under the current government guidelines during this pandemic Can't fault saphari with what they are doing Definitely would go again

As a party of 7 people for my Dad’s 60th we had never been to Saphari since its opening. The restaurant was very strict about the 2 hour rule, after this time you get your bill slapped on the table whilst you are still talking and eating pudding. My father had surprise cake to which we had to ask 3 times for during the duration of our 2 hours but after being told about having an extra 10 mins whilst the card machine was voluntarily bought over and still no cake had arrived and yet looking around the room there were plenty of large tables not yet filled I feel that it wouldn't be suitable for larger celebration parties as 2 hours seems a long time but it isn't when there is a big group of you being social. I feel that staff have literally got the clock started as soon as you walk in. Only 1 member of staff asked if we would like any drinks, other than which there was no real customer service or waiting staff (only ones to clear your plate) and it was very much help yourself. The food was much better than the previously owned Flavourz, much more variety and cooked to a better standard. Unfortunately it just felt more like a fast food place than a sit down restaurant so i wouldn’t return for any special occasions. Perhaps offering a longer booking for a small fee for any celebrations would give a better experience.

booking was easy via their website. The large restaurant was about two thirds full for our Tuesday 7pm booking. Self serve buffet, fabulous choice of raw food on the bbq area and cooked food, small turines, replaced regularly. very clean.Lovely sakads and cheese board, great variety of fruit and desserts (although i did not make it that far. free refills of soft drinks. Dirty plates cleared quickly from your table. Mixture of old and young people in the restaurant. Only the water and tea was serv ed at the table. wheelkchair friendly, large car park.

food was sub par but service was great overall it was okay

Came for my moms 60th birthday, food was great and service was perfect. Had a lovely time. The layout and decor is beautiful.

Very little choice of vegetable dishes for my vegetarian wife so her plate was mainly chips and rice with one veggie curry. Food was all well cooked and tasty enough. When asking the waitress where to get the bill she appeared confused and said “I don’t know” which was odd. Think this would be better on an evening as it just felt a bit empty on the lunch time.

It was fantastic food was yummy, staff were excellent. Liked it when chef came round to our table asking us how the food was. 👍🏽

staff very friendly, shown to the table immediately, left alone to that we could socialise and dine at our leisure.

Very noisey, hard to hear yourself think. Food was OK it just wasn't very hot. I'd go again but it's nothing special.

Tables too close together, feels like tour sitting in top of each other, had to wait ages to get a drink, food not great, will not be rushing back

Went for a birthday lunch. The food was superb and the restaurant is in a really good location. The staff were attentive and it's real good value for money. Definitely going back again 😀.

Lots of choice, buy not much for vegetarians except, breaded mushrooms, onion rings, chips & pakoras. Would have liked a protein choice.

Not an experience I wish to repeat. You book a table for a reason yet you have to wait 15/20 minutes to be seated and they allow customers to jump the queue

Sitting began at 5pm. Which meant queues in the cold and rain and everyone went in at the same time- there was queues for the food with pushing and arguing amongst diners. They ran out of food quickly and didnt replace dishes very quickly. They also ran out of plates leaving people walking around trying to find a plate. There was no queue system for the fresh bbq and no way of staff knowing who's food was who's so people were finding others had taken their food once cooked. Chefs completely overwhelmed with requests. Good at advising which foods contained allergens and quick to clear dirty plates off the table.

Good quality food, great customer service, great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.

20+ of us and no issues having enough food for everyone.

The food was divine. Service was bang on. First time visiting this restaurant as have wanted to for a few years. So glad I did. Iv even Booked a table for my sons birthday in april. The amount of food you get for you money is amazing. I enjoyed the wide range of choices. Staff would very friendly and made sure tables were kept clean at all times. Thank you very much.
